Communist "Commedian" Barry Crimmins shares more of his special thoughts with us. Amazingly, he is so far left-wing that he thinks NPR is controlled by corporate fatcats. Still, and Deomcrat who actively supports Al Sharpton can't be all bad...

Dang it, another liberal can't get on NPR. Oh well, there are plenty to take his place...

Very interesting piece. I used to be in media, and this sure "feels" like what the process can be like.
What I came away from this article with is the bottom-of-the-barrel intellect of those running NPR. Not that I expected to agree with their politics, or respect them, mind you.
But employing people so dumb as to insult "talent" with simple raw stupidity shows how far down the mental food chain NPR must go to staff itself.

I feel his pain.

$100 would have been a tremendous overpayment for what he had written. That was truly lame.

A self hating white liberal who hates other self-hating white liberals. It works for me....

Perhaps if he put more effort into his work for publication than in whining...
But then he probably wouldn't be a leftist.

This guy's high opinion of himself accounts for his disappointment with his rejection, but apparently only he is entertained by this stuff. I was so bored by the second Page Down scroll I gave up reading. Only NPR could broadcast snooze-producing drivel like this, and even they were too savvy to buy it. Ho hum.

Two years into the court-appointed Bush administration's destruction of our way of life ... The good news: I stopped reading at this point.
The bad news: I didn't stop reading until I read this.

I said, "My dog Lloyd has the stature to take on Bush." But then I allowed, "Of course, I raised him myself." Another liberal falsely declaring himself to be intellectually superior.
