I knew they had a house in NY, but don't know where. My friend would go spend vacation time with them at their house.

According to Robert Duvall's commentary on his fine film "The Apostle", James Earl Jones is a member of the NRA.

James Earl Jones is an American treasure.
Every movie he is in is far better than it otherwise would have been without him. Field of Dreams is a classic example of this.

Sorry, each to his own and Burton was one of my all-time favorite actors, but compared to James Earl Jones Sir Richard's voice was a Welsh tenor.

James Earl Jones has a house in Pawling, NY. I was surprised to see a local tourism commercial on cable featuring his narration. Everyone speaks very highly of him in the Putnam/Dutchess area.

This post must be from the Onion. Did we check the sources here? There really is one sane person in Hollywood?

Good Post in addition to the other roles mentioned, he was great in Field of Dreams, and he was recorded doing the Commentary for Copeland's, Lincoln Portrait, an awesome recording.

A real paradox is that he is ALSO the voice that says: THIS is CNN (love it!)
Maybe we could get him to record an intro to Pentagon press conferences about the war in Iraq. "Hello Saddam. This is America." As the bombs drop, as they explode, we hear, "This is JDAM", "This is EMP", "This is HEllfire" or my favorite, "This is Daisy Cutter".

I wish the article related the reaction of the audience. I imagine some jaws were on the floor, particularly given the political leanings of the sort of people who would inhabit a Performing Arts Center. I wonder how long it'll take for people to start calling him George Bush's lawn jockey?
