How A.N.S.W.E.R recruits for it anti-war protest
African american Republican Leadership Council ^ | 15 Feb 2003 | Trueblackman

Last night while working and driving through Baltimore City in the Lower Park Heights Area I came across several telephone, street, and red light poles with bright yellow notices on them.

Wondering what they were I pulled over, got out of the company car, and walked over to read one. The first goes stop Bush's Racist War...Money for Jobs Health Care and Education. Rally March 1st in Washington DC catch the bus and community meeting on Feb. 22nd.

The second read it is about economics, wealth, and money for the poor now. Bush/Cheney/Rumsfield the real axis of evil.

Now for most of you who have never been to Baltimore, Lower Park Heights is a sad chapter of boarded up building high drug use black on black crime and failed socialist economic policies from the state of Maryland.b Note the Park Heights Area is part of Ditrict 3 and 7 which Congressmen happpen to be Cardin and Cummings both Democrats.

I know now that International A.N.S.W.E.R(the Socialist Workers Party) is using the War on Terrorism to get a foothold in those economic communities left behind and seek to promote the same policies that left those communities behind in the first place.

We as conservative and free thinkers have the duty to expose these Socialist Democrats who try to pass themselves off as peace activist!!!

If only you could get Jim Robinson to group Freepers by geographical region. Once grouped, we could be told who lived in the same city by screen name. We could write each other by Freepmail to set up a local chapter.

Good idea jim whatcha think?

Does anyone else recall ACORN, a remnant from the Golden Age of the Clintons? ( Be advised, adult language leads this link... )

Backtalk! - Eat the State! (March 28, 2001)
... By carrying ACORN in your "activist" listing, you are helping unwitting people
become scabs for an organization whose workers have been on strike for union ...

(about those 1998 strikes)

6:00 P.M. EST

THE PRESIDENT: Good evening. Earlier today, I ordered America's Armed Forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq.

from: http://clinton4.nara.gov/WH/New/html/19981216-3611.html as found on post I am responding too

See the 1998 strikes were on military and security targets.

That series of strikes does not compare with what the Bush administration plans to do to Iraq this time.

i.e.:

The US intends to shatter Iraq "physically, emotionally and psychologically" by raining down on its people as many as 800 cruise missiles in two days.

The Pentagon battle plan aims not only to crush Iraqi troops, but also wipe out power and water supplies in the capital, Baghdad.

It is based on a strategy known as "Shock and Awe", conceived at the National Defense University in Washington, in which between 300 and 400 cruise missiles would fall on Iraq each day for two consecutive days. It would be more than twice the number of missiles launched during the entire 40 days of the 1991 Gulf War.

"There will not be a safe place in Baghdad," a Pentagon official told America's CBS News after a briefing on the plan. "The sheer size of this has never been seen before, never been contemplated before."

The Mother Of All War Shows

Another analysis says the attack will turn Bagdad into the new Hiroshima.

Shock & Awe: Is Baghdad the Next Hiroshima?

This new Gulf War is very different than the last and different than the UN and NATO actions that took place during the Clinton era.

Our allies in this war are only in it for what they get out of it

see: Iraq war 'could kill 500,000'

I'm Shocked and Awed that you people are so ignorant on this.

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

Your examples sound like the kind of trash talk an athlete does to intimidate his opponent.

Our efforts vis a vis Iraq are to liberate a persecuted people. It is not to kill and maim those people. President Bush and his administration would like to give the Iraqi people the same freedom to speak freely against their elected representatives as all the people demonstrating yesterday have the freedom to do in their respective countries.

Please post details on the anti-war funding. Specifically, if you can, how much and from which groups. We need to publicize this. Once it is collated and clarified, we can all send to major media in "Letters to the Editor". The lazy reporters won't dig for it, and their sympathies are with the anti-war movement anyway. But the editors of some papers will pick up on it if it is handed to them on a silver platter.

In most jurisdictions, posters on phone poles are illegal. Clean up the unsightly mess, and TEAR THOSE POSTERS DOWN!

Baltimore (John Water' s hometown and the base for communist Madelyn Murry O'Hare) is always laughable in it's attempt at radicalism. After all, where else can you find "BaltiBARF" - Baltimore Bisexual And Radical Feminists, (featuring "spokeswitch Rebekka Deathbush."). I remember a commie poster on the Md. Inst. of Art Campus years ago. It was trying to rally Womyn Everywhere to rally on the anniversary of the shootings of Montreal coeds by some distrubed guy who ranted "feminists are my enemy." The poster's tirade ended with this memorable Call to Action:

REMEMBER, MONTREAL IS EVERYWHERE!!!!!

District 3? Maryland City, the part of Laurel (area) that is in Anne Arundel County, right on the border with Prince George's County, has been gerrymandered into that district as well. The noble, fair-minded Democrts did that. Doesn't that dilute minority voting strength?

I noticed that ANSWER adn its "friends" are having a "community meeting" on Saturday, according to your post. Where and what time? It might be fun for a few conservatives to be part of the, er, "community." (And take diligent notes!)

All we have to do is read the list of sponsors on their website to know who they are and what they believe.

This isn't the peace crowd, this is the Anti-American crowd (obviously).
