He seems like a low life. I wonder what she did that drove him to such behavior. SEE.....GUYS CAN PLAY the poor, poor pitiful me victim game too.

Sarcasm aside, looking at her behavior, I wonder what it was like to LIVE with somebody like that, day after day.

So are you feeling sorry for Clara because she is a widow? LOL Thats like feeling sorry for the Menendez brothers because they were orphans. She deserved to get 20 years. You can't go around killing people because you were wronged. She should have divorced him & taken ALL his money & all the money he would ever make. Now thats punishment. Now she is going to be drilling teeth in the pen & getting nothing for it but her room & board. Stupid woman.

Why not?

Texans always have, and other Texans have let them walk for it if the dead one Deserved Killing.

This sociopath ran over her husband ... ONE TWO THREE times ... just to check whether her SUV was off road tough.

Note to self:

1.) One Tahoe circuitous skull crushing speed bump lap is manslaughter, three laps is murder
2.) Avoid homicidal activity in front of step daughter and video cameras.
3.) Cry for your soul, and cry for your children. Don't cry for your life.
4.) Gotta find a way to meet Nancy Bonner. Those flaring nostrils and brown eyes equals OH MAMA.
5.) Capital crime is not a wise way to get Ms Bonners attention
6.) Somebody famous needs to kill somebody pretty damn soon or the sweeps numbers are gonna tank

I didn't like Ms. Harris' response when the sentence was announced. What DID SHE EXPECT?

She broke down. She was stoic when the Murder 1 verdict was read. She was looking for an ankle bracelet sentence apparently.

It is an indication of her selfish pathology that she wept at the sentence, not the verdict. The verdict ... that was about him. The sentence ... oh, that hit home.

She'll be walking the streets by 2010. She might become an instructor for the Sears Driving School. Whitney Houston is jealous, she missed all the pedestrians in her mindless careening.

You mean the mythical "he needed killin' defense". LOL I don't think so. Harris was a worthless faithless man but she had no right to kill him for it. He did this to his first wife didn't he? Why should Clara be surprized when he did it to her?

Females have a different standard of guilt and penalty than do men. That's always going to be true.

Women are more valuable to the community, nation and SPEICIES than men. Every woman is gold. That's just the way it is.

The woman called the detective agency she hired to snoop on her husband, and requested a 2 day refund of her 3 day prepaid retainer because she killed her husband day one. You've got to like the smart money management the day after you repeatedly ran over your husband with a SUV. She's CNBC material.

Who can argue, she's one super gal CO. Let's cry like we've never cried before for this woman's pain. Cry like a colicy baby. Like a crying ... crybaby.

Adultery causes BIG problems, for the victims, the perpetrators and society as a whole. That's why G-d forbade it. Ever heard of the 10 cmmndmnts? If the husband had obeyed the 5th one, this thread wouldn't even be happening.

Very few people are trying to defend the husband. But we also aren't trying to defend the wife. I seem to recall something in the 10 commandments about not killing, too.

Her actions were justified

She promised she's going to search endlessly for the real killer.

Adultery inflames the heart of the victim - - I didn't make it that way, God did.

So you propose what? We indict God as a co-conspirator?

This is not a theocracy. We are a nation of laws, thank you. That Texas jury remembered it.

You took my post wrong! I actually didn't believe the jury would give her 20 years -- I figured they would give her 5 or 10 years at the very most. The thought even crossed my mind of probation from the way it seemed to be going when they said special circumstance.

This was a man who needed killing and she killed him.

Too bad you weren't around, YOU could have killed him, and she'd be with her babies. Maybe you can kill the "other women" ... she needs killing. Something flashy ... hey, trample her ass saddled up on a goat.

This guy didn't need killing, she removed the father of her children from their lives forever. That's a nurturing act of love. She's a soulless killer. Dig?

She'll do 12 or 15 years before she is paroled. I think she had this sentence coming but I sure can understand how she could have gone nuts over the betrayal of her slimy husband. Sheer blinding rage. People who screw around with other's emotions are asking for it.

Remember the New England school mistress who shot the diet doctor? He certainly was playing with emotional fire and got what he deserved, but she did a lot of time and taught educational classes while in prison. Got her released early.

Clara's Haiku
============
Witness:

Ain't no jive, the broad
in the Benz run her man down
five times, i tell you

Refrain

Her breasts may be small
but steel bumpers on Benz go -
thud bump thud bump thud
