[history]
Bad-boy actor Sean Penn says his opposition to a war in Iraq cost him a lucrative movie role - but the film's producer, Steve Bing, calls the claim "extortion." The feud over "Why Men Shouldn't Marry" erupted yesterday amid dueling lawsuits in Los Angeles.

Can anyone remember a single good performance by this professional fecal mass? I liked his performances in the following:
I am Sam (2001)
The Game (1997)
Carlito's Way (1993)
Falcon and the Snowman (1985)

I think it was Cecil B. DeMill who exclaimed:

Hollywood leftist types would have us forget that it is they who run Hollywood, and fantacise that there is still a blacklist. There is one, but it's conservatives whose names are on it.
ps: If Woody Allen is starring in this movie, I won't be going to see it. Maybe Sean's been done a favor by not getting the role.

I forgot the Game....LOL I am so reflexive Anti Michael Douglas, that it skipped me, he was pretty good in that too...
Personally, and I will draw some heat for saying so, but I think he is a very talented actor...

Sean's father, Leo Penn, was a director who was blacklisted for years for supporting the Hollywood Ten. He died in 1998. Seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Both Penn pere and Penn fils made conscious choices to flaunt their leftist, anti-American ideology. Like his father before him, Penn is now reaping the consequences and whining about it.
Sean, you reap what you sow, sow.

Dear Sean, here's a free clue - Hollywood celebrities who are considered employable don't line up for the latest leftwing cause d'jour, because they are too busy working.
When one of you weenies resorts to political advocacy, it's usually a pretty sure sign that you are what we politely refer to out here in flyover country as a "has-been". Which means that us hicks won't bother seeing your movies, just because we don't like having some arrogant, self-important and utterly insignificant snot like yourself behaving as if you have the stature or intelligence to tell us what to think.
Producers like Steve Bing know this. They won't waste their money on you. Get used to rejection, Sean. It's a character-builder.

LOL!!! Bagdad Sean wants his $10 million!?!!?!! How can this be?
I thought Sean only cared about "the little people" and the "innocents of Bagdad". I thought he was too morally superior to care about mere money!!! ROTFLOL!!!!

When did they let him out of detox???
