Something strange happened during the 2000 Gore-Bush election fiasco you may have missed.

CNN, which was running 24-hour special election coverage, hosted a program with conservative columnist Bob Novak shortly after the disputed election results were returned. Novak was adamant that Al Gore should quit trying to steal the election and concede. To bolster his point, he brought up the results of CNN.com's public-opinion poll "Should Al Gore concede?" Poll results showed that a full 89 percent of the thousands of people who had visited CNN.com and voted had agreed -- Gore should give up the ghost.

Most of us don't choose to handle rattlesnakes either. Maybe FReepers see no point in trying to have reasonable discourse with one who has proven himself time and time again to be sadly lacking in the capacity for reason. Besides Will, why should any of us take you seriously? We all know that you're trying find your niche of fame. Nothing wrong with that in and of itself, but that you are trying to do it at our expense by making us out to be something other than we are is deplorable and I can see no reason why we would either trust you or help you to do it.

The credit card fraud was stated as a fact with the implication that Freepers were the ones that did it. With absolutely no proof. Not like this tactic is a new one with the Libs.

You're forgetting about that public sachool education, lack of drive, if it's hard you really can't be ecpected to do it mentality aren't you? Besides, do you imagine any of them, assuming they are able to do searches, type in subjects without using the *F* word to prefix them? Could make a tremendous difference in the results.

The Chronicle is owned by the Hearst Corporation (better than the NYT???!!!...YIKES). The Examiner is privately owned by a Chinese family in San Francisco.

I think you're wrong, unless we actively work to put a stop to it. There are some states that are working on ways of making cheating voting "easier" and are making great strides. I urge you to follow the Voter Fraud threads if you're concerned about this issue. And guess who benefits the most from cheating opportunities. Hint: It ain't us.
