Freeper Prayer Request, Please

Hello, my FRiends...

I need your help and your prayers, please. I returned to my trusted OB, who delivered my son nearly 11 years ago ... During my annual, the nurse discovered a likely fibroid, and gave me a physicians's referral.

Well, this mass - he's still "99% sure" it's a fibroid - is filling my entire pelvic cavity on my right side, and there are at least two others as well. I took a CA125 blood test for ovarian cancer, to make sure. I won't get the results until early next week. And I need to have an MRI to determine what this mass is - the sonograms in the office weren't able to diagnose it, or its position, for sure. There is a small chance that it could be uterine sarcoma, which I PRAY it is not.

Also, since divorce had not been kind to me financially, I have no insurance, and need to go to the Medi-Cal office tomorrow, so I'll be covered. When my doctor measured the masses, he said they will have to come out, before they start crowding my kidneys and interfering with their function, which can be quite dangerous. I'm self-employed - I'm trying to keep everything going. Freedom versus sick pay... :-)

My FRiends, I just cried for the first time since I found out on Monday. I know I need to let go, and let God. I ask your prayers during this time of waiting, of decision, of action, whatever it is. I have to have the insurance in place before any treatment occurs, so I ask your prayers that that comes together quickly. And I ask for your healing prayers, and God's guidance for my doctor. I will need to have these removed soon, within a few weeks.

Don't let your heart be troubled!
A couple of months ago I had severe pain in my right abdomen that sent me to the ER. The doctors there suspected that it might be a ruptured ovarian cyst. I followed-up at my gyno and she couldn't get a good fix on my right ovary with the in-office ultrasound machine. She seemed a bit concerned so she made an appointment for me to have a 'real' ultrasound.
The technician doing the ultrasound had a hard time finding my ovary too. I waited over a week for the results and I was so nervous. I was so afraid I had ovarian cancer and that is why they couldn't get a good fix on my ovary.
My doctor FINALLY called and told me that a fairly large fibroid was in the way and that is why they couldn't see it. She told me that I also have three other fibroids and unless they start to give me trouble(heavy bleeding, cramping, etc.) they are nothing to worry about.
I am praying that your situation is caused by fibroids too and that the "C" word is not an issue. Please let us know what you find out. Till then, I'll be praying.
I kow all about being tapped-out by a divorce too. I've been there and it's not pretty. You will have happier times ahead of you. Also praying that your financial situation does not keep you from getting good medical care.
