Urgent Prayer Request

A co-worker and friend of mine was in a terrible car accident on January 18th. He remains in a coma, with all his arms & legs broken. He has a wife and five children. Please pray for my friend Doug & his family.

Prayers offered for Doug and his family. And remember that when catastrophic injuries are involved, a coma is not always a terrible thing -- it is the body's way of shutting down to help the healing process.

Nina, when my friend's daughter was in a terrible accident, she lay in a coma with her bones broken, and her jaw wired shut. They had to transfer her to a Rehab type hosital, as she remained in a coma. The Doctor's said her brain activity indicated if she woke up, she more than likely would be in a vegetative state.
WE did not accept that. We made daily Novena's to St. Padre Pio, her Mother and I. EVERYDAY, and her Mother said she prayed more than once a day at her daughter's bedside. After two months, she woke up, is absolutely FINE mentally and physically. She has a few slight problems, but she is not far from what the Doctor's predicted.

I also meant to say she is FAR from what the Doctor's predicted.
