'Human shields' being used - U.S., White House rebukes peace campaigners

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A day after dozens of peace activists boarded double-decker buses and a taxi to travel from London to Baghdad in hopes of preventing bombing by the U.S. and its allies, the Bush administration criticized their efforts.

"We would not recommend that people allow themselves to be used by a tyrant and a dictator who has a history of doing horrible things to even his own people as well as his neighbors," White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card told Fox News Sunday. "So this is not the time for people to call themselves human shields."

On Saturday, participants said they were hoping their presence would cause war planners not to carry through on threats to attack Iraq, which they accuse of amassing weapons of mass destruction in violation of U.N. resolutions.

"The potential for white Western body parts flying around with the Iraqi ones should make them think again about this imperialist oil war," organizer Ken O'Keefe, a former U.S. Marine in the 1991 Gulf War, said Saturday.

What happened to O'Keefe's prediction of 10,000?

O'Keefe could only get a few dozen to support his campaign to protect French oil supplies. Who wants to be a human shield for France?

It has already begun but I want to mass migration to these areas where imperialist powers like the United States are fighting oil wars and global domination wars. It is up to us, the people, to stand up now and act, and I think the best act we could commit at this point is to make a mass migration to Iraq and stop this war. We, as people, need to solve the problems ourselves.

Likely he's a bisexual weirdo getting his rocks off in London and onward now to Iraq. If the bus doesn't breakdown. He's his own one man cult.

He also claims he renounced his US citizenship. I'll bet this is a lie. That he never completed the papers to do this.

Human Shields = Panty "Waste"

I've been trying to keep up with all these folks who are scurrying to Iraq to be a human shield for their ferocious leader, Mr. Hussein. That is, Sodamned Insane. I can't understand why any human being would forfeit their lives to do battle for this man. Must be something in the water cooler of life.

It seems as if there are folks from all over the globe who want to protect Saddam. I'm not surprised. So does the UN. As a matter of fact, I'm disappointed that Blix and Annan haven't loaned their efforts as well. Why is it these people feel that their shielding of anything will stop the efforts of this war? I say, let them have at it. If they are killed in the process, then they have fought the good fight. If they survive, then they can tell their grandchildren about what dummies they were back in their day.

You see, it's pretty much normal for Iraq to use human shields...most being their own people. Look back at the history and see what their fearless leader has done with the innocent lives of his own people. He could not care less where these "shields" are from or any other thing about them. It's only a device he thinks he can use to stop an attack. In the words of Gump: "Stupid is as stupid does".

These people who travel to Iraq to become these human shields think they are on to something big. And yes, they are. A big mistake. They are willing to lay down their lives for a mad man, and their end is so much justified. Make no mistake, I hate the loss of any human life in any circumstances, but for these people to deliberately go in and pose themselves as targets, well, that's the breaks. What do they hope to gain, other than becoming dead?

Why do these people feel so drawn towards Iraq, a country with a leader that is bent on destroying any part of civilization that would disagree with him? What is to gain? There is this spin regarding they do or do not have WMD's and the same regarding their capability to have these weapons. Regardless of whether they do or do not, the intent is still the same. A country that is led by a thug and his two sons, who happen to be a bigger thug than daddio himself, has to be dealt with harshly. There is no middle ground. He has to go.

Yet, we see these people stand up and align themselves with Saddam. Why? Well, looks like their education failed them. People are saying that it's the USA against the Muslims. If that's the case, then why doesn't the Muslim community in Iraq offer to be human shields? After all, they could go and be with Allah much sooner. It's a sham, folks. These folks talk a good talk, but backing it up, they are limited to a small vocabulary that consists of hateful words. Just like Saddam claims he's not losing any sleep. Right. Could be, though, as a man with no conscious requires little sleep anyway.

Another downside to these gullible human shields from our own country is this...once the war has started, and some of these shields lose their lives, then they will want to sue the USA. And who will be standing in the wings to accomodate them? The likes of Senator John Edwards (D-NC) who would bend over backwards to stab this country in the back in order to chase an ambulance. He would be front and center, along with Sir Hillary, wanting to blame the country for the mistakes of these idiots. That's pretty much the mantra of the left....no responsibility, when you can place the blame elsewhere.

So, I look forward to see where these shields will actually be placed and their finally outcome. I'm not a gambler, but I would wager this. When it gets down to blast off and crunch time, I would say that you could not drive a straight pin up their backsides with a sledge hammer. Why? Panty "wastes". The whole lot of them.

Aiding and abetting the enemy in time of war is called treason in my book. They belong on trial and should be stripped of their citizenship.
