Senator Patty Murray continues serenely in office despite her remarks to a group of high school kids in Vancouver, WA, concerning the merits and achievements of late Osana bin Ladin. (I say "late" because I agree with the astute Mark Steyn that bin Ladin's failure to make an appearance on video since the bombing of the Tora Boras in November of 2001 means he was vaporized and is now enjoying the caresses of six dozen spectral virgins, but you need not agree with me on this. Whether he's actually dead and sojourning in whorehouse heaven is not relevant here.)
I dealt with her remarks in a previous Conning Tower, titled, you may remember, Senator Patty Murray, Boob. I have no reason to change my characterization of her remarks. They were pathetically silly, approaching in foolishness something you'd expect from a tenured professor at one of our elite universities.
This is what Murray is reported to have said on that occasion...more

The question is who will challenge her next year or is this a short memory thing?

Senator "Dung-heap" Harkin was on C-SPAN this morning. A caller asked him about Murray's comments and Harkin said that he had no idea of what the caller was asking about.
As far as the liberal media and the DemocRAT politicians are concerned it's a non-story.

Correction: "Senator Patty Murray continues serenely in office despite because her remarks to a group of high school kids in Vancouver, WA, concerning the merits and achievements of late Osana bin Ladin perfectly reflect the sentiments of her anti-American constituents in Seattle.

In an interview with Bill O'Reilly on FNC last night, a guest mentioned a petition at a website named www.removepattymurray.com. I searched it but got no results. Any suggestions?

We Freepers HAVE to keep this alive.
To: G.Mason
he was vaporized I'd prefer to think he lay half buried, maimed, charred, writhing in agony for a few days before going to his reward.

"We Freepers HAVE to keep this alive." There is no political penalty possible when your statements and actions reflect the vast majority of your electorate. Jihad-Jim McDermott was re-elected with 74% of the vote in Seattle shortly after he returned from kissing Saddam's b*tt.
Patty's behavior can be a wedge to separate patriotic Democrats from their party. But patriotic Democrats don't exist in Seattle, so we're stuck using Patty as a wedge against Demos in Georgia.

Yes, it could be that Boob Murray does reflect the views of her constitutuents and that publicizing her stupidieties and infidelities will endear her to them. That's a vital part of the political system we've adhered to since 1789, and it's a wonderful system.
Yes, let's use the silence of the Dems against them wherever they reside. Let's punish their party for its moral blindness. What a grand opportunity, if we persevere.

"We Freepers HAVE to keep this alive." Fox News is beating the drum right now, they have a tape of Murray in the school, and her attempted explanation she made this morning. She looked scared and weak in the explanation, it's time for the GOP to go for the kill on this liberal moron.

You got a good point there, Brad...

I don't doubt that many news organizations take a peek now an d then to see what's hot on FR. Surely, FOX does. So, let's keep the Patty Murray story alive, keep scratching the sore spot on the Dem hide.

This quote from a piece reporting Murray defending her remarks in public yesterday...
Several experts said its true bin Laden has spent some of his money in the Sudan and Afghanistan on infrastructure projects such as building hospitals, schools and roads. But they say most of those roads were built to take soldiers to and from training camps, the schools built were madrasas, which often indoctrinate students to the bin Laden brand of Islam, and the hospitals were not intended for average Muslims but for injured Mujahadeen fighters battling the Soviets.

What you say is true, of course, and worthwhile noting--bin Ladin's construction work was to futher his war against the infidel--Christians and Jewss in particular and the West and America in general. What Patty Murray can't figure out--still doesn't acknowledge--is that bin Ladin is beloved in the Muslim world for killing thousands of Americans on September 11, 2001.
Bin Ladin and the Islamofasciti are evil, but Senator Murray thinks the US is evil. In a more enlightened age, she would be horsewhpped.
