HOLLYWOOD, Florida (Reuters) - A company associated with a group that believes extraterrestrials created mankind claimed Friday that it had produced the first clone of a human being.
The company, Clonaid, announced it had created a healthy baby girl who was a clone of the 31-year-old American woman who gave birth to her. No proof was provided for the claim.
"I'm very very pleased to announce that the first baby clone is born," Clonaid director Brigitte Boisselier, a former research chemist in France, said at a news conference in Hollywood, north of Miami.

You would think at the very least they could have cloned Anna Kournikova, not Phylklis Diller.

I mean much worse.

I didn't see it on TV...but I'm not sure how much worse this Brigitte woman could look.
I guess on TV she's moving around and looks more real than on here, that could make people throw up as well.

repugnant I am reminded of the quote/dialogue by Jeff Goldblum's character in the movie Jurassic Park... in the scene where several visitors are riding in one of the park's vehicles which is part of an automated tour.
Paraphrasing: You (meaning: the park and it's eugenics scientists) figured out how to clone dinosaurs, but you didn't stop to consider whether you should.

How many men on FR would want to be Ann's microphone in that picture? :o)

I agree.....Hmmm I wonder if we are going to find out that all these peaceniks and anti-War people are aliens.

While they are at it, they can clone Debbie Schlussel also.

I would want to be Ann's microphone! Just an oppurtunity to be that close to such a godess of a woman.

Looks like she could give Crest White Strips a run for their money, huh?
Lady, I don't know what they use in France, but over here, we use toothpaste.
To: Cornjonny
Wow she's hot...is she a conservative?

On Fox News it was explained that this woman belongs to a "sect" that believes that mankind was created 50,000 years ago through genetic manipulation by,
GASP!!!, ALIENS!In the 1970s this group was advised of this occurrence by Aliens who returned to "check it out"! So what's the big deal about a clone baby if we're just one big galactic brain fart!
Klatu, berrada nicto!

Hillary's long lost twin.
To: Poohbah
Yeah...
Of course, it's only a matter of time before the party-pooper wing of the conservative movement shows up - the "No fun allowed" types...

As I said before...this group was founded in the 1970's...which should explain a lot.
