I totally agree! I started reading and left off on page 40! From the beginning of the book, every page was a HIT PIECE on every member of W cab. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AT ALL. I hope FIGHTING BACK is different than this TRASHY BOOK! Oh by the way, didn't you sense that Woodward was always elevating KLINTOON to the up most in the book?! WASTE OF MONEY :(

Howdy, LG!

I thinks it's very admirable what you are doing by standing with your principles.

With your attitude you'll go far! keep it up!

Wher edo you plan to move to? (I'm going to make a shameless plug for Maryland because we need more conservatives here and after Hanuary we'll have a Republican gonernor!), LOL!!

I hope you had a great Christmas! and you have a wonderful New Year too!

Did you go see The Two Towers yet? It's great!

I'll keep praying you find another job soon!

Keep the faith!

Hi, OWF!

When I heard that line said to Pippin by Merry about if these things wer ignored there will be no Shire. It made me think of what is going on in the world now. I still am a friad of us going to war with Iraq and naybe with North Korea.

But those words made me think, If we don't do something about Saddam Hussein and his WMD's or N. Korea and it's Nukes. Then ther will soon be no USA.

I trust President Bush and Secretary Rumsfeld, and what ever they say is necessary to do, I stand with them.

May God keep them and us safe!

Isn't this the most awesome photo of Frodo? I think Elijah Wood should win the award for best actor in this movie. He's not even up for it though, is he? He is just such a fantastic actor.

Actually, I think the guy playing Wormtongue is the best actor in the film. He's ugly as heck...but what an actor! And I LOVE the change that takes place in King Theodin in this scene. It's just fabulous the way they morph from this decrepit looking fellow into the King of Rohan!

Can you forgive me for jumping the gun on you like I did last night? I guess I was really tired from my moving and the holidays. I should've realized you were kidding. I'm really sorry!

I agree!

I think Elijah Woods has a great future as an actor. I think he's really good and he's only 21 or 22 years old!

I recommend Fighting Back. Bill Sammon really skewers the Washington press corps in that book, and he has a lot of background on what happened on September 11.

Also, it is better written and easier to follow. And no digs on the cabinet.

Did Wormtongue remind you of Ozzie Osbourne, mountaingirl? :o)

btw, I'm saving that great picture of Elijah for daughter #2! He's been a great actor since he was a child. I saw him first in Avalon when he was only about 8, and he was incredible in The War with Kevin Costner (not that great a movie, but great acting on Elijah's part).

Pippin, I thought the same thing about the parallel between the line about there not being a Shire if the evil weren't conquered and today.

Thank God that we have a President who sees the battle going on between good and evil, and recognizes it for what it is.
