Happening in Houston
Reported on KSEV, Houston, The Voice, Jon Matthews show...
A soldier on leave from the US Army stopped off in a Conoco station to fill his vehicle and is told by the Middle Eastern man running the place to leave because he is a murderer.
Houston FReepers, if you have the information about the address of the station and the number to Conoco, please spread around. Houstonians are already calling into Conoco demanding the oil company take the franchise away from the man who did this to our military.
If you live in Houston, please fill this thread with more information. I am doing my usual stuff in getting my daughter ready for school and am unable to sit and listen for more pertinent details.
Make that Middle Eastern man feel the wrath!
EAGLES UP!

A soldier on leave from the US Army stopped off in a Conoco station to fill his vehicle and is told by the Middle Eastern man running the place to leave because he is a murderer. First of all, if the soldier is on leave, how would the "Middle Eastern man running the place" even know he was a soldier? The haircut? I don't think so. Did the guy in question tell him he was a soldier? What occasion would he have for telling him? OK, maybe he may have been wearing a jacket with Army logos or patches on it, or maybe his pickup truck (why am I picturing his vehicle as a pickup? LOL!) had Army logos on it...
Secondly, it has been my experience with Middle Eastern small businessmen that they are just that---businessmen. I've seen them suck up to people and wave the flag and declare hatred for all terrorists, because they want your business. Any idiot knows that telling an Army soldier to leave because he's a murderer, be he Middle Eastern or not, in by God TEXAS of all places, is a death sentence to the business, if not to the business owner.
I'm not saying that he couldn't just go stark raving mad, but I also know that any fruitloop can call a radio station and make up lies just to stir up trouble, and sound very convincing in the process.
If the TV stations can get the "soldier" on camera telling his story...well, it would be better than just a voice calling a morning radio show.
If nothing can be verified, and this convenience store guy and the franchise suffers the wrath of the angry mob based on a rumor, I hope the radio station and the talk show host pay a heavy price for it.

You realize, of course, that at this point it is a
UNSUBSTANTIATED RUMOR! At least find the accuser and get him to tell his story on camera, and then check the accuser out to make sure he's not a fruitloop.

Bingo.... Nothing like a little slander suit to ruin your day.

Has this story been confirmed? Do we have the soldier's name? Has he talked with any other talk show or TV station? Is there a witness who can confirm?
I live in Houston. The address given is near the Woodlands subdivision which is an up-scale community that is generally conservative.

If he's going to make this sort of accusation, get the accuser's NAME, find him and get him on camera. Make him go ON THE RECORD.

The soldier gave his first and last name on the radio. (I was driving and could not write it down) Also his mother and his father have talked on the show this morning.

You didn't look it up did you? The accusation is still an unsubstantiated rumor, isn't it?
Real name?
Statement on camera?
His unit?
His C.O.?

so when politically incorrect news is reported on the local news, then it is suspect??? Would it be suspect information if it were reported on CBS or CNN??

If he's going to make this sort of accusation, get the accuser's NAME, find him and get him on camera. Make him go ON THE RECORD.I don't have to do a DAMN thing to satisfy you. I don't care if you believe the story or not. Why don't you start a pro-islam thread to show your support for them or just dummy up?
