EAGLES UP! Middle Eastern Man tells US Army soldier on leave: "You aren't welcome here!" [HOAX]
Alkhin

Posted on 12/19/2002 5:20:06 AM PST by Alkhin

Happening in Houston

Reported on KSEV, Houston, The Voice, Jon Matthews show...

A soldier on leave from the US Army stopped off in a Conoco station to fill his vehicle and is told by the Middle Eastern man running the place to leave because he is a murderer.

Houston FReepers, if you have the information about the address of the station and the number to Conoco, please spread around. Houstonians are already calling into Conoco demanding the oil company take the franchise away from the man who did this to our military.

If you live in Houston, please fill this thread with more information. I am doing my usual stuff in getting my daughter ready for school and am unable to sit and listen for more pertinent details.

Make that Middle Eastern man feel the wrath!

EAGLES UP!

So some other unnamed person SHOULD be President, but he's not, and Bush should be impeached. That about right?

I'm speaking generally. I don't trust anything Middle East. I wish they would all go home.

You show me a convenience store or a motel and I'll show you a Middle Easterner.

You feel that anyone who has ever agreed with Bush on one thing, agrees with him on everything (hence the Bushbot references).

Not true. There is a lot of difference between agreeing with Bubba-2 on a issue or two,and thinking he is the brother of the baby Jesus. I've never seen bigger hypocrites than the Bush-Bots.

Simple: they put all of their efforts and money into their business, just like the 19th-century immigrants did.

Very true, but the point is "where is the money coming from?".

BTW,another good question might be,"As young children sitting in the streets of Calcutta or some Pakistani city and eating dirt clods as desert, did these people grow up dreaming about one day owning a Ramada Inn in Florence,SC?"
Seems unlikely, huh? When was the last time YOU saw a Pakistani or Indian immigrant working outside the computer field who wasn't a self-employed business owner?

From my experience, it comes from them (a) buying a chunk of property with what cash they've accumulated in the old country and (b) leveraging it to the hilt.

In the old days, immigrant shopkeepers and innkeepers were amazingly poor, especially when they started out. That's because they put every last penny they had into the business.

Gosh, ain't it just EMBARRASSING to get shown up by some immigrant who's willing to hold off on the his and her's Lexuses, the SUV, and the expensive house?

If the clerk shorted the till he could be cited by the owner and/or fired.

This clearly isn't what we were talking about. Besides, he may own the business. He may have paid for it himself. I don't think a matter of a possible cash shortage between a clerk and a gas station owner is reason for any concern of ours.

As a young child, I didn't expect to find myself doing what I do, or living where I'm living.

Let's see. There's the Pakistani security guard at my former condo complex, there's the Indian accountant who lives down the street from me (he's not self-employed, he works for a local firm), and that was just off the top of my head.

On the door. Are those new flag decals??

Yep, brand-spanking new. Just went up this morning as a matter of fact, shortly after the news got out about insults hurled against an American soldier. Strange coincidence, ain't it? :-)

Not to me it isn't. I ain't buying your scenario about them having the money when they get here, either. Both India and Pakistan are VERY poor countries, and anybody living there with a couple of hundred thousand in US dollars has no reason to leave.

Criminal. He can't tell someone in the military he won't serve them because their military any more than I could tell an arab I won't serve them because their arab. It's a hate crime

The clerk didn't do this. Not only was the soldier allowed to pump his gas, he didn't even have to pay for it. The clerk did not deny service to the soldier.

To you, anyone who agrees with anything Bush does is a Bush-bot. I may agree with some things he does, but not everything. I've said I'd vote for the most conservative candidate in the primary, and again in the general election. In the last general election that was Bush. So you hate hypocrites, and believe that people who support Bush on one thing, support him on everything. Yet you post this to someone else:

" THAT shows a lot of deep thought. Anybody who doesn't swallow this thing whole without question MUST be pro-Islam,right? "

Doesn't seem consistent to me, but I don't count because I'm not frothing at the mouth to impeach Bush.

In the case of the gentleman who ran the motel I stayed at, his family was targeted for death by Islamists.

That's one HELL of an incentive to leave.

And note that I said "buy a piece of property and leverage it to the hilt."

The next step is to identify a distressed property. In this case, it was a Vagabond Inn where the owner was in Chapter 11. He bought it out at about $0.04 on the dollar. He also got a break on his property taxes for three years in return for "helping clean up the neighborhood" (translation: running hookers and pimps off his property).

His oldest boy went to the recruiters' office and enlisted the day after 9/11. He knew exactly what we're facing.

I used to live near some Arabs back in my college days and I can tell you that their families had a lot of money. These Arab immigrants aren't poor, a mistake often made by people on the left. Of course, it doesn't help their image that their apartments are about as clean as a crack house and once they dirty up one apartment so bad even they can't stand it anymore and just move into another apartment, if there's no woman around, but they do come from wealthy families. These Arabs and Indians and Pakistanis come from rich families, and then once they get over here and then their couisins start showing up, they help each other out. Practically all, if not all, Subway restaurants in Raleigh are owned and run by Arabs.

At least that's the way it was back during the Gulf War, in my college days.

Who owns the condo complex, his cousin,or his uncle?

there's the Indian accountant who lives down the street from me (he's not self-employed, he works for a local firm)

Besides asking the obvious question,"Who owns the accounting firm?,HOW did he get a visa to immigrate here? Is there a critical shortage of accountants that I haven't heard about?

The store people have denied it: to the dad in person, to the caller on the phone. When the caller was there, there were two women crewing the store. They said they were the only people working there at the time the son reported being there.

Boy, if this turns out to be true, there are a few people on this thread who are going to owe wimpycat a big apology...

"The clerk did not deny service to the soldier."

Yes he did deny service.

There was a transaction involved.Gas for fair payment.
The clerk did not allow the soldier to complete the transaction.

It was an outright insult to the soldier. the U.S. military, and to the country when the clerk refused to accept payment for goods rendered because he didn't like the soldier.
