The amazing thing is how some folks just leap to her defense as if Saks had been stealing from her or something, as if celebrities are above the law. If she's a klepto - and there are hints she is - this is not only just and overdue, but probably a good thing so that she gets some help.

The Judge can do anything he wants within the guidelines. She is a first offender and while she won;t probably get slammer time, she will get a hefty fine and lots of hours in community service.
If the judge adds to all this , the previous shoplifting escapades where she got caught by 2 other stores, I'd think it is within his realm to send her to the chiller for 30 days or so... Who knows. Gerragos should quit his harping, he isn;t helping her case jabbering on.

Make a note to NEVER get Mark Geragos as a lawyer; if I were the judge, I'd throw her in jail just because of his attitude!

She's only a "first offender" because these are the only people who have gone threw with the charges.
Geragos is acting like she hasn't shoplifted from every story in Beverly Hills OR that she didn't have all those RX drugs on her!
