I agree if you say yes to #1 you're kook
But Rush said a yes to #4, means you are partly a kook. I say no way. racial double standards are wrong, period, nothing kooky about it.

4. Are you bothered by Miss black America contests and such, because a white Miss America contest would be called racist? 5. Are you bothered by an all-female country club, because an all-male country club would be called sexist.
I think one would answer 4 and 5 the same way. I know I would, and I suspect Rush would even though I never listen to him.

Rush is the epitome of a Country Club Republican. I still like him, but that is what he is.

3. Absolutely NOT (and not on submarines)
Women should be allowed into all other non combat areas (but should be trained in small arms and personal defense)
Women should be trained separatly from men

I thought a "KOOK" meant "Keeper Of Odd Knowledge."

Do you think Wyoming and another state (I forgot which one the caller said) should secede? This is not what the caller said. He was not talking about secession. He was talking about an effort to have a lot of conservatives/libertarians move to a State with a relatively small number of voters, and by so doing take over political control of that State. This is known as The Free State Project.
Rush's answer to this was very sad.
It was very sad because I only know about The Free State Project because of Walter Williams. He has a link to it among his recommended websites. Rush was effectively saying that his top substitute host is a kook.

If you were listeing a caller to Rush asked is he was a Kook.
You know, I usually criticise people for incorrect grammar, but this is just too much. I mean, I don't even know what you're trying to say!

Rush is interested in preserving the status quo, because the status quo is being very good to him. That's Rush's
agenda. If you're a conservative whose beliefs threaten the status quo then you're a "kook".

I know I'm not the only person who listened to that particular phone call on the show. IMO he was a kook because he was trying to measure his kookiness by what someone else believed! :)
He also wasn't very coherent. When he brought up the state succession issue it sounded to me like he was saying that New Hampshire and Wyoming should secede from the Union. I don't recall hearing anything about the Free State project in that conversation.

But Rush said a yes to #4, means you are partly a kook. I say no way. racial double standards are wrong, period, nothing kooky about it. As long as those stupid contests aren't funded by the Government, they can include or exclude anyone they want.
