If you were listeing a caller to Rush asked is he was a Kook.
the Issues were

2. Do you think taxes are too high? (Yes)
3. Do you think women should be allowed into combat? (yes)
4. Are you bothered by Miss black America contests and such, because a white Miss America contest would be called racist? (No????)

I agree if you say yes to #1 you're kook
But Rush said a yes to #4, means you are partly a kook. I say no way. racial double standards are wrong, period, nothing kooky about it.

4. Are you bothered by Miss black America contests and such, because a white Miss America contest would be called racist? 5. Are you bothered by an all-female country club, because an all-male country club would be called sexist.
I think one would answer 4 and 5 the same way. I know I would, and I suspect Rush would even though I never listen to him.

Rush is the epitome of a Country Club Republican. I still like him, but that is what he is.

3. Absolutely NOT (and not on submarines)
Women should be allowed into all other non combat areas (but should be trained in small arms and personal defense)
Women should be trained separatly from men

Look, I think Rush was saying that trying to take over a state legislature and secede is just a dumb idea because the likelihood of it happening is so low. It is "kooky" because the probability of it working is so low, yet some people think it could work.
I don't see how Limbaugh is a "country club republican". Unless by what you mean is he is not some hick who lives in a trailer in the sticks who wants to do totally unrealistic things. Rush is ultimately a realist, unlike some who support certain things that have NO chance of happening.

Ditto...When Rush Limbaugh made the statement that he has NEVER owned a pair of jeans in his life because he thought they were for hippies and lowclass folks...well it just turned me off...that was quite a few years back. For god's sake!! Jeans are the most recognizable American garment there is...sheesh...what a snob! Bush wears western cut jeans for pity sake....Rush doesn't seem like the kind of guy i'd like to stand over the fence, talk politics and down a few brewskis....wouldn't he look odd in his slacks with wine and cigar?? ugggg!

3. Do you think women should be allowed into combat? (yes) Wrong, they agreed NO.
As a woman, the correct answer is NO...I don't care what all the feminazis say...women are excellent in different areas then men in the military or law enforcement...women are excellent negotiators and investigators...as far as armed physical combat...NO..agreed with you nothingneew...

I don't wear jeans, either. I would love to do so, but my big belly hangs over the waist in front. Any solutions--besides losing weight, of course?

Rush is the epitome....
Yes indeed.! And he has shown that many times over the years. I catch his radio show once and awhile if I'm on the road. I usually bail out when he starts with the "YOU PEOPLE" stuff. The last guy that referred to me in that manner had three up,and three down on his sleeve and I had no choise in selrcting a responce.
HUP Sarge.!!

Rush is cool. Notice some that feel a need to point out they don't listen to, or like Rush. I agree with you that Rush is not a "country club republican". But if he was, so what? Is it nobler to be a 'victim' democrat. Rush has succeeded in this capitalist country, but it took much work. Perhaps some don't know he was fired 6 or 7 times early in life but persisted. Rush listeners come to know he is secure in who he is & can take criticism. Some of the callers really let him have it, letting him know how much they dislike him. He doesn't get shrill or trash the caller back. He asks what it is they dislike & tries to have a civil conversation with them. A rare personality trait.
