LOL...the sweatsuit is priceless. Only a firstclass dork would dare to walk onto a football field wearing that. It simultaneously screams "mommy dressed me" and "beat the s#!t outta' me" ....glad the tackler knew what to do.
My 5 year old nephew joined in our annual family T-day football classic for the first time, and showed alot more toughness than Bubba-Elvis-Nancy did. He took his inaugural beating like a man. ;o)

Has anyone ever gotten the definitive story about why Clinton did not use his Rhodes scholarship to get a degree from Oxford? I know that he spent a lot of time "not inhaling" and protesting the Vietnam War with his Brit buddies, and also I've heard about a trip he took to Russia while he was a student in England.
The darker rumors are that he was asked to leave after a rape accusation against him from a female student there.

You can find all these pix of Mr. Pigskin in color
here. BTW, it seems the Toon's warmup suit said "commander in chief" on the back. He wishes.

I heard that the British authorities got him to leave England after several complaints had been lodged about his sexual assaulting nature, so he never finished his Rhodes thingy. Seems as though the Rhodies didn't want their good name soiled.

The Glasgow Daily Record reports:
Nov 29 2002
IT LOOKS as though the Most Powerful Man in the World (retired) couldn't catch a cold.
Former US President Bill Clinton led a team of students in a game of American football at Oxford University yesterday. But he fumbled the ball in dramatic style during the Thanksgiving Day match.
Clinton, who studied at Oxford in the 60s, wore a navy tracksuit top with the words Commander- In-Chief emblazoned on the back. Despite his cock-up[LOL], Clinton, 56, seemed to relish directing play from the quarterback position.
But he eventually conceded defeat, telling the students: "I can't keep up with you guys. I'm getting slow in my old age."
Daughter Chelsea was spared her father's embarrassment. The Oxford student was attending a lecture at the time. But her boyfriend Ian Klause was there to cheer on Bill. Insiders claim Ian and Chelsea will soon announce their engagement.
In the middle of all the action, Clinton still managed to find time to help one injured player, Claudia Veritas, receive hospital treatment for an eye injury. He got his security guards to call his personal surgeon and tell him to be on standby at nearby John Radcliffe hospital. link

Official complaints of sexual assault by Clinton go back to 1969 when he was a student in Oxford where he was charged with raping 19-year-old Eileen Wellstone, an English student. Police were called but the family decided, unfortunately, not to press charges. Clinton was virtually told by Oxford University to get out. Miss Wellstone, now married, still states that Clinton raped her. This, as Broaddrick has clearly demonstrated, was not an isolated case. A significant number of complaints have been lodged against Clinton for sexual misbehaviour, including assault. The New Australian

Well, they could have been annoyed that the block was not harder, materially harder and then they could have moved on to more important assignments after a decent period of mourning.

I speculate that Clinton's advance people set up this "impromptu" football game, and were able to get these American kids to participate only after promising several post-game rounds at the local pub.
