Leno fed Gore a bunch of straight lines about Turkey Day and whether he's going to run again for president. Gore answered...well...like a stiff.
Commercial break, more to come.

He was late to the show, like he was for Larry King last week. He blamed L.A. traffic again. An environazi like him should be zipping through traffic in a Segway, shouldn't he?

Most all the news media plays it straight down the middle (hah!)

Leno said Daschle was whiney!
To: Tuscaloosa Goldfinch
Yeah, that was great, wasn't it? In the past, Leno's taken a left of center stance on some issues (like affirmative action), but he's been pretty critical of the Dems in the last few weeks.

Leno asked Gore about his comments about right-wing media.
Gore says there is a part of the media that is hardcore right-wing Republican that generates stories that gets picked up by the rest of the media.
Leno hammers away on the Wellstone memorial and how it turned into a "fundraiser." Gore agrees that it backfired, blames the "third speaker" (the son?)

He's interrupting Jay at times, just like during the 1st debate. I'm glad he apparently remains his own worst enemy.

Yes. (I thought he was supposed to be plugging his book.) Oh, here he goes.
Yes, the average american is working harder than ever --TO PAY TAXES!!!!!!!!
To: kristinn
I have to chuckle when I hear Gore criticize the Bush administration for the way they've handled -- or not handled -- the war on terrorism. Whether it's been a success or not -- and I think, for the most part, it's been a resounding success -- is there any sane American who would rather have Gore sitting in the Oval Office right now?

He was talking about that guy who was saying that folks in Minnesota must vote for Fritz (I forget his name/position). He's the scapegoat.

Does anybody have the Amazon Rankings for his book? Is it still at 450 something? :-)

Oh good grief, did he really say that?
To: Gunder
That is one thing to be thankful for tomorrow-- that Al is not in the Whitehouse.
To: Jonathan
I wouldn't call him a traitor for voicing dissent about the war on terrorism -- that's his right as an American. But I wonder if he really thinks Americans are buying any of what he says?? Leno looked like he was struggling to take this guy seriously.
