What's to Freep? This is true entertainment. Daschle is coming apart at the seems. Rush gets a bazillion dollars worth of free publicity, and Free Republic gets a nice plug by Rush (thanks to that marvelous picture) in the exchange.

This is better entertainment that you would get watching Ms. Streisand sit in ashes wearing sack cloth picking at scabs using broken glass (admitted anachronistic as a Christian symbol vis a vis Streisand).

I really don't like giving "Little Dicky" any of my time, and I do wonder if he was part of the prior meeting that "tiny tim" (I know Tom) referenced. Was "Little Dicky" there? This bunch are not stupid so what are they really trying to cover up. I did vote.

Dear Senator Tom Daschle,

I was very distressed to hear that you feel Talk Radio Listeners are sending you threats. This goes against most of the conversations I've had with conservatives, Republicans, and talk radio fans. Most feel deeply gratified for the leadership and direction you've supplied to the Democratic Party over the last couple of years (particularly this last, fruitful month).

In fact, if it were possible for voters to elect you "Senate Minority Leader For Life," there would be many, many crossover votes from registered Republicans to assure your continued political career.

I for one, am deeply thankful for your continued presence in the Senate. I truly hope that these implied threats pass quickly. I hope that you, and those around you, may choose to exercise your second amendment rights to protect yourselves.

If you still feel the need for further security, remember there are many, many conservative citizens who will probably volunteer their time and expertise to insure that you stay in your present position for as long as humanly possible.

1. Those are the ones who do believe it INCLUDING the ever gullible press.
2. The press is the lapdog of the Dems so they are dutifully outraged. Note that no actual threats have been reported, no phone recordings, angry e-mails, NOTHING is offered in evidence...just the tearful words of a broken man.
