Good morning from VA Beach!

Not much going on here, just waiting for hubby to get home from work (he had duty yesterday). Kids are doing fine.

Going to be be babysitting this weekend for a friend and her husband celebrating a wedding anniversary then it's her turn to watch my kids on Sunday, my 26th birthday. Then I rest up for the sinus surgery on Monday. I should be home later that day but I don't have Net access at home so won't be on for a few days after that. *L* Sad thing is that my husband is having two wisdom teeth yanked 3 days before my surgery. Gonna be an interesting week coming up.

On a lighter note, my mom and dad's Doberman wanted to say hi:

You know, I'm curious about how care packages are handled. I'll be sending one soon to the 24th MEU and also I'll be sending all those Christmas cards in a box labeled "Any Marine" and I was just wondering how they go about distributing things like that?

Good question! I'm also doing the same, but some one told me that the "care" packages to the troops have to be opened & inspected before they leave the States. Anybody know is this is true or not? My "voices" want to know!

I was concerned about sending a package to "Any Marine" because I thought they would not accept it...but the Public relations guy told me it was fine. I wonder if things might have relaxed a bit from last year.

I know that people were really wanting to send things out last year and couldn't figure out how to do it.
