I was too late for helo ops.
Sun going down before 5 PM now a days.
It's at least 20 mintues from my work to the base.
So I hung out with the crew on base for awhile.
I'll be back in the Operations Office tommorrow and
hopefully will get some boat training in also.

You are in the unique position of having lived somewhere else and were able to see what a great country America is. Some, like the peaceniks, will never understand that the only reason they can get away with what they do, tearing down America, is because the military, both past and present, have made America free.

Sounds like maybe helo training can only be in the summer. But I'll bet hanging with the crew was enjoyable too.
