Agreed, its a shame they got 8 death penalty counts against them, but only two of them can die to pay the price. I almost wish the family, or friends, or racist poverty pimps like Jesse Jackson who promote the entitlements/hate whitey attitutude that makes blacks think anything they want belongs to them could be made to pay a price for this crime. One question I have, why is it that when one white person anywhere at any time says something racist, its an indictment against every white person and our entire society. Yet when a black person brutally rapes/robs/murders a white person (which happens 11 times more often per capita than the reverse), it's racist to hold their culture to blame.
You're not the white woman he raped repeatedly then shot to death execution style. When that happens to you, get back to us.
Exactly. Its too bad liberals like this guy don't get to see what the Carr brothers are really like up close and personal.
And its too bad we can't trade this Evans turd for one of the victims that night.
What did the dogs and rats do to deserve being fed the Carrs?
I believe most people go around behaving like there is no threat to them in their normal lives. They are caught in a state of complete surprise and have no preparation (read training) to fall back on.
If the robber or attacker is armed the average person, being unarmed, does as told thinking they have no alternative. They become passive and are at the mercy of their attacker mostly because the victim has no mental preparation to fight back with whatever is available.
Those who live in states with CCW (concealed carry) laws are negligent if they aren't armed and trained to respond IMO.
Excuse me, but what do they teach these people in law school? Capital punishment is not a teaching aid, it is a retributive device. It evens the equation: if you take a life, you will give up your own. What could possibly be simpler?
In terms of public policy, the death penalty exists to prevent blood feud. Prior to the establishment of a formal government, traditional tribal law imposed an obligation on the kin of a murder victim to avenge his death. In a formal government the state assumes this obligation. We cede our right to exact revenge to the legal authorities, in the understanding that justice will be done. Any state that does not impose the death penalty for premeditated murder is most blatantly not fulfilling its part of this contract.
As such, the right of revenge would revert to the kin of the deceased. This is when you get what is called "vigilante justice." In a well regulated state, this would not be necessary. In the U.S., however, where you can spend more time in jail for tax evasion than for rape, vigilante justice becomes an ever more plausible option.
If justice is served in this case and the execution is carried out, then all well and good. If, however, the Carrs are released (after a sympathetic feature film is made about their lives in the next couple of decades), I hope some brother, uncle, or cousin of a victim exacts a measure of real justice.
Probably not. They'll be welcomed into one of the Black Muslim groups, where the Carrs' conduct will be hailed as part of the ongoing race war.
I'm sure that they will "find religion" while their cases are appealed. And their relatives will give interviews to the media about what good boys their babies are. Why, they could even be the next Mumias!
Within a couple of years, they will be televising speeches for the commencement ceremonies of Ivy League colleges.
I think we should fill the neddles, set up the table, strap them in and start the juice flowing.
End of problem, and it is easier on them than it was for the people they murdered
Sorry, Mr. McDonald, but these things are incapable of any feelings of guilt. The quicker we can unite them with their Maker, the better off we'll all be.
I see the gov-elect is looking for suggestions as to how the state can save money. I think I will email her and volunteer to execute them for free. Right now. No housing for ten years. No more court costs.
Great idea. You would be doing the State of Kansas a great service. Can I help?
Sentencing is on Court TV now.
Reginald Carr watches as jury members
are polled after they recommended the
death penalty for Carr and his brother,
Jonathan on Thursday.
Foulston is reading the charges against the stinking, low-life, good for nothing born evil brothers. She mentioned rape upon a few of the male victims. Does this pertain to the forced sex with the female victims? Or, were these 2 male victims raped by the Carr brothers also? There are so many charges, it's hard to make sense.
