Late Thursday night Freeper WVNan posted a request for prayers for her husband. In her own words .....

"He had some sort of heart attack about 7 this evening. He couldn't breathe and I was so scared I'd lose him before I could get him to the hospital. God provided me a cop just around the corner. He was writing a ticket for some guy. I pulled in behind him and asked for his help. He didn't miss a beat. He helped me get hubby in the back of his squad car and he took off. I bet he had him at the hospital in 3 minutes flat and he had called ahead so they were ready for him. By the time I got there they already had him hooked up. Fluid build up around his heart. They have him drained down and stabilized. I'm hoping to get him to a good heart hospital tomorrow. On top of that, my daughter-in-law called me while I was in ICU to tell me that hubby's 93 year old uncle had a stroke and is in another hospital across the river. Talk about a bad night. Thanks for prayers for both of them. Uncle's time is probably about up, but my beloved husband has to get well. He's half of who I am."

We are totally dependent on Your mercy and strength. We pray that You would look down upon WVNan and her husband and give them everything they need for this trial in their lives. Lord, we thank You for the officer who aided them in getting to the hospital. Please send others to be ministers of the Holy Spirit. Restore this husband's heart, Lord. Father, You have given us husbands to love and to cherish; to care for all the days of our lives. Please guard this wonderful man and let Your healing be upon him. We pray also for the uncle who needs Your loving arms to surround him as well. We commit all this to You, Lord, knowing that You love this family and You will not forsake them in their time of need. In Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
