Just called Terrell headquarters and gave my meager donation. Online donations not up yet. The woman who answered the phone said a lot of out of state donations are pouring in and they really appreciate it. Number to all is 225-218-8683

How does CFR ty into donating to this campaign?

I was told that this election (which is the extension of the Nov.5th election) does not fall under finance reform rules. I saw your post yesterday and then heard someone on TV say that this did not fall under CFR. Where did you get your information?

Interestingly, CFR has no impact on the Louisiana runoff. I knew the CFR law had an effective date of 6 November. But I don't have and hadn't read, the entire text. An alert FReeper pointed out to me that the "effective date" clause which exempts from CFR any "runoff of an election conducted before that date [6 November]." So the old rules still apply to this one, last, election.
The old rules would also apply, logically, to the aftermath of other elections, including raising money for the examinations of fraud, legal fees, etc., in South Dakota, since that is all part of "an election conducted before 6 November."

CFR shouldn't affect hard money contributions.

There were three republicans in the race who garnered a combined total of 51%. If all that support transfers to Terrell, the lone Republican left in round 2, she should win.

I got an email from the NRSC soliticing donations specifically for this campaign. The GOP is going after it, so we best help it. Send donations directly to the candidate or to the NRSC. I wonder if the NRSC can support activities regarding the fraud in SD.

I've mailed my donation, and encourage others to do the same. Think what a difference it could make if every FReeper sent just a little.

REMEMBER THE ALAMO!
We get to "live in interesting times", now we have
"REMEMBER THE SOUTH DAKOTA VOTE-JOKE!"
It would be took much if fraud eventually unseats Tim Johnson...
AND Terrell unceremoniously sends Landrieu packing.
Let us pray.....
