Just want to say this has been a very enjoyable evening and thanks to all the Freepers that have kept an eye on the tv and all the polls. Has anyone seen Peter Jennings tonight, I'm wondering how he's taking this?

Does anyone have a count on how many Gov's we had before and what we have now?
I thought it certain that we were losing the majority there. But I'm hearing about a lot of R Governors.

Did you hear someone from Louisianna talking to Chris Matthews about the run-off for Mary Lan. - He said the run-off would be between the top 2 winners, which are both republicans, and not between a rep. and democrat !!!!

Here in WA State...
No change in House Seats, no Senate elections or Gov.
All tax increase initiatives are failing! The tax limitation package by Eiman is passing. $30 car tabs!!!!!
Ref 51 failing miserably, would have raised gas tax by 8 cents per gallon to fund highway improvement (yeah sure it would have..). This was heavily supported by State govt and local media. He he he

"They're losing their minds. LOL!!! They're over the edge!!"
LOL. This reminds me of something Jon Lovitz would say (with an evil smile on his face).
BTW, Simon /Davis a dead heat with Simon slightly ahead. And here in AZ we are probably going to get a female democratic abortion loving, tax raising governor. Yuck.

Can someone tell me WHY Limbaugh isn't on FoxNews tonight? He did a great job on NBC..

Looks like Siegelman has held serve in Alabama - UP 5,000 votes with 99% reporting. Sure to be a recount. Maybe there are still absentee ballots that could swing it to Riley. I can hope.

Davis will win by 5% minimum.Even for a Democrat, Davis is sleazy. If he wins, he won't serve out his full term. He'll be indcited for corruption in 2 years or less.

Oh my my my, what a frightening day for the Eeyore wing of conservatism. Sununu and Dole pulled through, as did all of Rove's handpicked candidates so far, and Rush just said that he had been wrong with his criticism of Bush's 'New Tone' strategy!

I'm not a Bush bot. I'm someone who votes Republican and expects to see some action from them. Independents, such as myself, can give and we can take away. Unless there are some big strides towards controlling our borders, deporting illegals, and zero immigration and visas to terrorist nations, my vote will go to Tancredo as a write in in 2004. Hear! Hear! And some conservative judge appointments as well!

Regarding said poem: YIKESYou're not a'kidding. When I read stuff like that, I think Columbine, Maryland sniper, Ted Kazynski in the making.

Actually, I like Limbaugh on the major networks so more libs see him. He very eloquently illustrated the link between the economy AND security.

"Lines were so long that people were still voting at 11 pm Eastern"
This is what Mondale was talking about. Now ask your self how many of these dems were truely eligable to vote? How many of them voted more than once? Where there votes bought in some mannor? Where those polling places carefully monitored by Republicans and Honest poll watchers? Saddly in this day there is no accountability in many low life polling places. If he wins it will be by major cheating.
