Nah,,the runoff is between the top two finishers regardless of party,,Mary Landrieu is a dem, Suzi Terrell is a pub.

That would be nice, but the run off in Louisiana will be between Landrieu (D) and Terrell (R).

Landrieu got 46 % of the vote and the three Republicans who ran against her, combined, got 51%. We have a good chance of picking this one up, but it's not in the bag yet.

This may be bad news for cajungirl. I think (if I don't have her confused with another freeper) that she was expecting to rent the guest house to a reporter for the next month. I imagine she'll get over it!

No, in LA it will be the top 2 candidates--one Dem, one Repub. But the Repubs got 51% of the votes cast, so the race should be pretty equal.
