I heard predictions on the radio during the (long) drive to work that the 'Rats may lose control of both houses of the legislature today. What relief that would be. "Let's Roll !!"

My 23 year old son and I just voted -- straight Republican ticket(s) here in Charlotte, NC. Hubby will vote later -- straight Republican ticket -- after work. We are defintely a "broken glass" Republican family!!!
Poll workers said voter turnout pretty heavy -- I was number 363 at 11:30 in our district. We will have very heavy turnout this evening. Republican signs EVERYWHERE -- more security than during the Presidential Election.

Strong turnout in Sierra Vista, Arizona. I was number 313 in my precinct. I was told by a Dem aquaintance last night that this county only has 9,000 registered Dems -- most of their candidates don't mention that on their signs. Ashamed of it, perhaps?
Voted straight GOP except for one Dem -- Denise Lundin, our clerk of the superior court. Does a good job and is nice to look at. Every government needs one resident babe.

I voted via absentee ballot. Voted straight Republican ticket. Voted NO on all NEW spending. Will Davis still be govenor tomorrow ? God help us !My sister who is a loyal RAT voter in Bakersfield, CA just called me to say that both she AND her husband voted for SIMON!! I was speechless! She explained that Davis hadn't kept his promises. ( She always was the master of the understatement!) I told her I was glad she FINALLY came to her senses and thanked her for supporting Simon.

John Cornyn, Rick Perry, Carol Keeton Rylander et al just got two more votes (Mrs. BJClinton being the other vote). And Libertarian where there weren't any Republicans.

Up in North Jersey those dopey dems are voting for the retread - Lautenberg. Southern New Jersey is largely Republican, but we are always outvoted by the more highly populated north end of the state.
My congressional district is as far north as New Jersey gets (we border NY state).
We were the ONLY congressional district in NJ to vote for Schundler, and we will elect today one of the most conservative congressmen in the nation in Scott Garrett.
You 609ers have to get your act together down there.

I've exercised my franchise!! Voted for Romney, though I don't like Healy. I just didn't want the DEMS to have everything here in MA! Voted yes on eliminating the income tax, yes on English education for non English speakers with minimal instruction in their native languages, and vote NO on public funding of candidates in MA. If someone wants to run for public office, they can use their own money, or garner support from others who want that person to run. Why should I pay for someone with whose ideas I do not agree!?

Pinellas County. Bush leading 5 to 0 and the Republican poll guy gave me "three points" when I walked in all decked out with campaign stuff. I told him I wanted a "touchdown" instead. I made the other voters laugh because even though we aren't supposed to talk I said "I wish money would come out." That's actually true. Because if we VOTE REPUBLICAN, we will get more of our own money back.

Nashville checking in: voted Republican; had to go in the rain.
To: cake_crumb
I went to vote at 7 am here in Huntington Beach, CA. People were already waiting. We are pretty much Republican in this area. I vote strickly Republican. I hope Simon makes it
To: SuziQ
I split my ballot between GOP candidates and Libertarian candidates. I live in an area where there are more Libertarians on the ballot than Dems.
