Done...
Voted McCallum and republicans down the line. Had to write in a few because democrats were running unopposed and I refuse to mark a ballot for a RAT.

Tennessee's Senators will stay Republican; I just hope our Governor stays Republican too.

My thoughts exactly. Besides, if we pass this amendment then we might as well pass one allowing the dead to vote. This way ALL Demorat votes would be legal.

I have liked him ever since he challenged Chuck Robb(er). He had no chance but I went and voted in that primary just to send 'ol Chuckie boy a message. Now, I'm on all these stupid Dem. mailing lists...

I guess I should have made more of a spectacle, myself. I did however ask very loudly how I go about doing a write-in candidate. Someold lady told me smarmily " read the directions."
I wonder if they tell that to people in floridah?

Piece of cake . Smooth operation in Broward , S. Fl . Anyone who can botch this is mental midget or a severe hack of an activist . Broken glass straight thru , and a few votes to fire a supreme or 2 .

You're assuming the good people of floriduh can read.

Just got back from voting. For the first time in my life I pulled a straight Republican ticket.
The dirty tricks by the rats has completely alienated me from ever again voting for any dem, ever.

Just back from the polls. Held my nose and voted for Forrester. Down with Lousenberg, that cadaverous viper!
Interestingly, there were poll watchers in our precinct... first time I've ever seen them there.... Could be a good sign.

Republican across the board.
Pataki in a rout. Any luck and McAll comes in third.

Just voted here in AZ for Matt Salmon for Gov.
When I arrived at the polling place, all but one booth had people busy voting. I, of course, took the open booth. A couple more people came in while I was voting and by then some more booths had opened. Steady but no line.
A news channel van was in the parking lot when I arrived. When I emerged from the building the reporter was getting set up in front of the camera to tape his piece.

Three hours! What the heck do they have you do in Florida, vote on every letter in each candidate's name? They said on FOX News this morning that the ballots in Flori-duh are 11 pages long. Lots of propositions and bond issues on the ballots.
I voted in Arkansas this morning, and the ballot contained one prop for repealing a tax and about 9 or 10 props for new or increased taxes.
To: iceskater
here in Va, you don't even need to know how to write: you just type the name.
Voting is way too easy, in my opinion.

Voted Fisher...should we consider this the Live Election Day Thread?

Voted for Simon. Ran into a gal from my neighborhood at the polling place. She's a Democrat, and gay. Nevertheless, she told me she specifically voted today to vote *for Simon*. Such is her loathing for Davis.
Hope it's a trend. :)

I am a Republican and I voted, and just for the record I am not dead!

ARKANSAS...Husband and I stood in line, got to the books and although OUR name and address was on the "books", we had not been assigned a Ballot!
So, we had to go to another holding area, where they at last, assigned us a Ballot. WE lived at the same address for 15 years, and have voted at the same place every year.
We witnessed people who had voted in the same precinct and whose address had not changed, be told to go to another place. In fact, some of the people are being turned away because their names are not on the books. "Challenge ballots" are being filled out...but they won't count.
