Just voted here in Burbank, CA. Light turnout so far.
Go SIMON! California needs a Gray Out.

I am in Alabama and voted for Congressman Jeff Sessions (R) in our only national race. The NRA endorsed Don Siegelman (D) for Governor but I couldn't vote for the man. I voted for John Sophocleus (LP) I also voted for Lyn Curtis Adams(LP) for Lt. Governor and Mark Bodenhausen (LP) for Secretary of State.

We have two education bond referendums on the ballot here in VA, too, and I voted no on both of them (argh....don't you know I'll "lose my job"???). We were told that if we wanted any raises, etc., we should vote YES for them. Uh huh....pay more taxes, get a raise, and pay MORE taxes...

Voted Straight Republican. Luckily, there were no rabid pro-aborts.

OMG...that gawd awful KIKI MOORE is on MSNBC right now, talking about "intimidation and suppression!"
We have GOT to get rid of these people ONCE and for all. They truly believe they are a "government in waiting," sitting there hoping to get back in control.
People, VOTE STRAIGHT GOP TICKETS!!!

Just got back from voting. There were two people in front of me (one black and one white) that weren't on the rolls. The Election Judges handled the situation really well. Turnout was light, but I also went at 11:30.

I voted a straight Republican ticket - polls were busier than I think they anticipated today but the wait wasn't too long.
To: Dales
Voted republican in the close races, but libertarian in all others.

"if he [Bush]
had been more 'political' all along, he wouldn't have had to rush around like he has done these last two weeks, pulling the proverbial 'fat' out of the 'fire,' so to speak"If he'd been campaigning for others all year, during a war on terror, and a EUN/Senate terrorist war on HIM, he would have been crucified by the left, by the media (same thing) and by conservatives, who want him to run this country and not make his entire term in office into a 4 year (at a time) long election campaign.

Voted straight R about an hour ago. My polling place here in Hamilton, MI (very conservative) was empty while I was there, but the parking lot was filling up when I was walking out.

How's the weather up there?

I voted two weeks ago so this has been a LONG wait for me!
I voted:
Van Hilleary (R)TN Gov.
Lamar Alexander (R)TN Sen.
Everything else was local-voted straight R except for one race. Only one candidate and he is a horribly crooked Dem. Did a write in vote for SpongeBob SquarePants! Shrug

I agree with you, Joe....our local Pubbies need to get a fire under them! We Freepers are setting an example I hope they will follow.
I got a call to show up at 11AM in Venice for Sign Wave with Katherine Harris.....I assumed it would be where we were last night....busiest intersection on 41.
When I got there at 11 no one in sight.....so wearing my Harris teeshirt I stood with two JEB signs for about 20 min. until the GOP Club president arrived. He told me that they all were over on the Isle near downtown.
I told him what a busy corner (by the drugstore) it was. After several honks & thumbs up for JEB; he agreed and stayed there with me until noon.
BTW when we were getting into our car this morning; a woman stopped to tell us she was going to GOP HQ to report that she overheard 2 poll workers sitting at the check-in table discussing our candidate Katherine Harris by name and saying 'I hope she doesn't win....she has a lot of money!'.
She remembered the poll workers by name (all wear name tags.
Then we went to vote and reported what she had told us to the Precinct Deputy on duty. Later we stopped at HQ and were told that by Conniw that she was calling our County Election Official to make the report. I hope those two workers are fired & never work in an election again.
I'm going to follow-up on what action was taken regarding their partisan behavior.

It's still early here (09:30 Hawaii Standard Time) in Honolulu. I just got to work after voting before breakfast with the wife then on to the office. I was Voter #26 at our polling place, the wife was #34. Of course it's much too early to tell yet how the state races are going. We are hoping to unseat all of the incumbents excepting Galen Fox,(R) our State Representative from Waikiki, the lone Republican incumbent on our ballots. Abercrombie is our congressman and there is little chance of him being defeated. We may, however, have our first Republican governor since statehood.

Voted in Fridley, MN over my lunch hour. The polling place was very crowded with the over 65 crowd. Very long lines for that time of day.
The supplemental ballot for the U. S. Senate race was very clear (Wellstone's name appears on the main ballot, but that section is crossed out, and ech voter is specifically instructed how to handle the supplemental ballot just before voting). It's hard to see how there could be a credible claim of ballot confusion here.

Hmm, you'll have to tell me how that's pronounced! I've never seen that name before.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I've been lurking for years and years. This is like my second home and my second family. Living (literally) in the shadow of Mt. Rushmore has been a daily inspiration for me. I finally decided to act on that inspiration and become an "Offical Freeper".
