I voted yes on 48 and no on 49. Our fish wrap nailed 49 as the wrong way to handle this. We would be better off donating to the boy and girls club, scouts and other youth groups and keep the money out of the politicians. The only conservative thing they did.
We receive a ton of mail from the CaRep, and we don't remember getting a voters guide this year.

Two more Republican votes here!

Just voted in Alpharetta, Ga. which is part of Atlanta. Alpharetta is 80% Republican.I had to wait in line about 15 mins. Usually I never wait. I have heard that some of the machines are registering votes as Democratic when the person has voted Republican.Review your vote!Even then, the machine could be fixed.

Don't worry about disparaging Bush to me; if he had been more "political" all along, he wouldn't have had to rush around like he has done these last two weeks, pulling the proverbial "fat" out of the "fire," so to speak.
I sure hope it worked; we shall see. I'm hoping this is one election where all the polls are wrong and it's a virtual blowout. It happened in '94, it could happen tonight.

I voted this morning for myself, for my dog, for my dead grandmother, and for my uncle who's been in a coma since February....Opps, I thought this was Democratic Underground...Sorry.

My husband and I just voted repub. all races in Arkansas. There are a few with choices of Dem or independent which means choice of democrat so left those blank. Looked busy for a midterm election but couldn't get a read on how it's going. We're former upstate NY'ers, got out just before the Clintons' arrived there. Figured this was the safest place to go - (NW AR)

Voted in same County as did Gov. Pataki this a.m. (GOP stronghold). Voting was unusually light but should pick up this evening.

Algor flashbacks cause post traumatic stress IMO.
But, right this second, I'm just glad I got to the end of this very long thread. I think I'm going on break now.
PKM, signs are missing from precincts in various counties in Florida. FYI. Fregards, friends, FV

DH and I voted straight Repub ticket for southern CA today! Now we wait. Only a miracle could have Simon push Davis out of office, but we did our part.

Vote for Conservatives Hey, I'm in Massachusetts, but I did my best -- I held my nose and voted for Romney. (I have to admit that voting for Grabauskas for Treasurer was the happiest, most full-hearted vote I've cast since Reagan!)

I guess I didn't make myself clear. There was a half hour line for the one voting machine that was serving my apartment complex. Two other machines served voters who didn't live in my complex and I didn't see anyone vote at either of those machines. A second machine that was supposed to serve residents of my complex was broken. The polls opened at 6 am so that makes 152 voters in over 3 hours which I didn't think was particularly fraudulent. One of the poll workers said only one person couldn't wait on the line long enough to vote.
The only thing that now makes me think of fraud is that when I got back from running errands, I got a recorded message from the Republican Party that said that I hadn't voted by 10:30 a.m. I assumed they were just being extra careful, but now I'm getting paranoid ...

Hi! I voted this morning about 10:30 and it was pretty crowded, even with the rain pouring down and 40 degrees!

Welcome from another longtime lurker!

I voted about two hours ago. The precinct was empty. Sadly, in my part of West Virginia, there were a number of races in which the only candidate was a RAT. But in every race possible, I voted straight GOP, even though there were a couple of races in which the Dem candidate actually is the more-qualified person for the job. The ever-increasing evil and hatred spread by the RATS nationwide over the last few years has finally driven me to the point where I can't in good conscience vote for anyone that is a member of that party. It must be destroyed.
