UNDECIDED voters from APA, Muslim, immigrant, pro-gun rights communities may decide election outcome
http://www.tyrannyresponseteam.20m.com ^ | November 4, 2002 | Hail Caesar

Despite negative criticism and attacks on them by certain Republicans here in Maryland (and nationwide), Maryland Tyranny Response Team patriots (TRT), Asian Pacific Americans (APA) and Muslim Americans, nonetheless showed up at the Ehrlich/Steele rally that featured former NYC Mayor, Rudy Giuliani.  Members of these three major groups of UNDECIDED voters for tomorrow's mid-term elections MIGHT still give Maryland's Republican candidates the benefit of the doubt tomorrow.  This is despite the political compromising and selling out of the civil/constitutional rights and civil liberties of gunowners, APAs and Muslim Americans since the immigrant-bashing and campaign finance scandals of the mid-'90s, plus the attacks by "fellow Americans" on our civil/constitutional rights since September 11, 2001.

The irony here is that many candidates from BOTH major political parties have chosen to sacrifice our American FREEDOMs in the name of "Homeland Security" and scapegoat those very same American gunowner groups (ie. the TRT) and immigrants (innocent APAs, Hispanics, Muslims, etc.) whose "swing votes" may very well decide control of Congress, as well as the final outcome of several key state races nationwide!

The question for the future is, in light of all of the above, which political party's candidates will have proven to be the most deserving of the support of these undecided voters...

MWLWN LABE!

In normal circumstances, Republicans might do well among Muslims, because they are not naturally in favor of abortion. But other forces are at work right now. I agree that there's no sense being gratuitously insulting. But the problem with Muslims, jihad, and terrorism is pretty hard to get around.

Asians are quite another matter. And Hispanics. And blacks. And anyone else willing to support freedom, independence, and life.

THIS article certainly refers to members of these voting blocs nationwide, however, especially applies to those here in Maryland, who happen to still have the largest number of UNDECIDED voters for tomorrow's elections!

In general, neither the Maryland Democrat nor Republican Parties have really earned the votes of the aforementioned groups, even if a few politicians have in the past.

Thanks for the pics, and THANK YOU for posting the info that Muslims came to the Guiliani rally. However, it could have done without the tinfoil hat "they're violating our Constitutional rights" routine.

If detaining Muslim terrorists, both illegals and citizens, is an "attack" on the Muslim community, then the arrest of every Jehova's witness who ever beat their child to death with a wire extension cord is an attack on all Jehova's witnesses...and the arrest of every Roman Catholic priest who ever molested a child is an attack on the RCC.

The only politicians trying to take away our guns in the name of Homeland security are a bunch of left wing Dems who want to take them anyway...and one John McCain, a RINO in Daschle's back pocket.

You're welcome (for the photos, etc.).

And, BTW, detaining criminal suspects is legal and constitutional. Painting all members of ANY community with a broad brushed and/or negative stereotypical "terrorist" label is immoral, though legal under the 1st Amendment. I'm not accusing you of doing that, but, many active posters on FR do just that and, unfortunately, the general public is given a bad impression of the conservatives here in America by such postings here.

It is also legal for voters from Maryland's APA, Hispanic, Muslim and RKBA communities to hold politicians and their supporters accountable for actions that infringe upon their civil and constitutional rights.

Since APA, Hispanic and Muslim American voters are severely undercounted in both telephone and exit polls, it will be interesting to see just what effect their votes have on election outcomes tomorrow.

Thanks for the post. I was at the rally as well. All in all, I thought it was an excellent turnout.

The aforementioned groups of voters will hopefully come around and realize that Ehrlich, while no great conservative icon, is far and away the better choice in this election. Maryland Dems pander to minority groups but don't actually DO anything for these groups. Heck, KKT has demonstrated the past few months that she could care less about you if you're not African-American. Asian Pacific or Asian American...? KKT throws you in the same group as Whitey. Muslims...? KKT doesn't even know you exist.

And the past 8 years demonstrate that the promises made to the all-important African-American Democratic base do not lead to action when the election is over and the business of governing begins. If the Dems actually kept their promises they would run out of issues for the next election!

I don't want to say too much on this public forum since the Dims lurk here, but, even as I type this and occasionally monitor FR, but, rest assured that eleventh (11th) hour efforts are underway now to swing those undecided voters in those communities towards our good GOP candidates on the Maryland ballot tomorrow.

And yes, in case you didn't know, I am both a conservative AND a loyal Republican (NOT a RINO). :-)
