You just had to attend Bill McBride's rally for Hispanics in Broward County this week to see what is happening to his campaign.
There were maybe two dozen discouraged McBride supporters inside a Southwest Ranches restaurant -- and a flood of Bush supporters waving signs outside.
Even in this Democratic stronghold, McBride has trouble.
The panic among Democratic insiders is so thick you can cut it with a knife. They see victory slipping away ... not only in the governor's race, but everywhere.
Democrats are working overtime to make sure McBride's sinking campaign doesn't drag down the whole ticket.

When Dims get desperate, they commit vote fraud. Everybody watch out!

"To watch the self-destruction of the demoncRats is a beautiful sight to behold, indeed. :-) "
I would love to see it too...but I remember having that same excitement the weekend before the 2000 elections. We lost EVERY close race (except the most important one!) last time. I hope and pray Tues. will be different.

And ... what else I think is interesting is that McAwful's job is on the line and he's not doing toooooo good.
First the Wellstone fiasco, and now he's pouring everything into Floriduh. I have heard there are complaints from other dems about not getting any funds from McAwful because he's pouring everyting into Floriduh.
Also ... I have not heard one mention from the media about all the money McAwful spent on the new DNC headquarters building. Interesting. If the repubs had done that, we would have hog-tied and quartered by now.
This disarray could happen to a more qualified bunch. They have earned this with all their corrupt practices.
We MUST motivate people to vote.

They are like the National Socialists in Germany in the 1930's ..... crooks, thugs, bribe takers, racists, gays and gay promoters, traitors and worse. THe Nazis put gays in concentration camps: I hardly think they could be described as "gay promoters".

Please let me know if you want on or off my "'til election day" Fla. ping list. On, please. Thanks.

...every non-McBride vote counts as well, including our military votes. Until the Dems. master computer fraud, their mischief won't be able to overcome a 5% or greater lead for Jeb.
Voter's Responsibilities: please remind the press/Dems. that they have the Voter's Rights covered, but are neglecting the other, important half of the voting process.

Clinton spelled the demise of a once strong party. Loathesome as Clinton is, he is not the "demise" of the party, but merely the logical end of the narcissistic "philosopher king" approach to politics that began a long time ago. Things like productivity, uprightness, honesty, and community-mindedness are for the little people. (And IMHO Republicans like Newt Gingrich are in the same category.)

And, of course, crooked politicians, particularly incumbants who feel threatened with the chances of losing their sinecures in an honest election. And many coattail-riders who see a chance for personal advancement or moneymaking opportunities on the Democratic Party's fringes.
And the more of that sort who are thrown out of the Republican camp, the more legitimate and less hypocritical such claims become.

THe Nazis put gays in concentration camps: I hardly think they could be described as "gay promoters".Actually, there was a heavy homosexual element in the NAZI Party until they attained power, then the NAZIs turned on them.

Ah, this article warms my heart. I truly thought McB might pull it off. Looks like he's toast.
Btw Ragtime, you do great work. Thank you!

Wait a minute, I thought Janet Reno was Jeb's Democrat opponent! See, the Dems should've given the nod to Ms. Reno! Janet's working overtime to insure voter fraud.

Thanks for the ping...encouraging! I'll be doing a lot of praying that all the wrongdoers in this election get their come-uppance. Thanks, again.

You know McBride is done when even Eleanor Cliff states on TV Bush is going to win.

The good and decent people who remain in the party deserve no less. There is no good and decent people in the DemocRatic party. Never has and never will be.

There is no good and decent people in the DemocRatic party. Never has and never will be. Hey, now. My mother, who died in 1993, was a Democrat. She was the finest person I've ever known. She was misguided, yes, but that didn't make her any less good and decent. Granted, there are plenty of people who fit your description, but certainly not all of them.
To: demlosers
That's right - now is not the time to get over confident. Everyone must turn out as if this election is on a knife edge.

I became so sickened several years ago by what the Democrat Party had become that I had to make a special trip to the courthouse to change my registration. I was unwilling to wait until election time and to be associated with those people for any longer than absolutely necessary.

McKay was a liberal FL congressman with a "conserevative" image, much like Cleland in GA. He was the Democrat senatorial nominee in 1988 and the gubernatorial nominee in 1998. He lost to Connie Mack and Jeb Bush, respectively.
