*MUST FREEP!* MSNBC Web/TV Vote and Viewer Call-in: Will the GOP Retake the Senate?
MSNBC ^ | October 31, 2002

Posted on 10/31/2002 6:21:02 AM PST by Timesink

MSNBC's Question of the Day is a very simple Yes/No: "Do you think the GOP will retake the Senate?" You can FREEP this three different ways (You can do one, two or all three):

1) Simply vote in the poll. It's already 61-39% pro-GOP.

2) Email a short comment (pithy, as O'Reilly would say; they won't air something that'll take up 5 or six screens) either from the poll page or directly to question@msnbc.com. Emails will be read throughout the day until 6 pm ET.

3) Call in at the times they announce they're taking calls. This will happen throughout the day. I believe the number is 888-MSNBC-USA, but I'm not 100% certain on this, so be sure to copy the right number off the screen.

I happen to think otherwise. If the question was do you wish for the GOP to take the senate I'd freep it. But that isn't happening this go around.

If the Republicans are this fired up over an off-year election, the DemocRATS should be wetting their pants.

My comment:

"Dead candidates in HI, an appointed Senator running for "re-election" in MO, non-existant voters in S. D., Wellstone replaced by one of the guys who brought us the term "misery index" in MI - the "memorial service"/political rally - Bill Mcbride, the man with the invisible past in FL, an almost octagenarian, last minute replacement for a losing candidate in N.J.; Tom Daschle, et al. Voters are tired of Democrat fraud and obstructionism."

Interesting that they're not mentioning the House races.

This is a good sign that the GOP will not only keep control but may well increase it.
