ED is far from being a bird-brain when it comes to knowledge of public policy, current events, etc. I've also watched her rake many Dumbocrr@p blow-hards over the coals because of their weaselly non-answers to questions and/or flip-flops on positions. I'll take ED as an interviewer any time any place over that rhymes-with-witch "Perky Katie".
ED does, however, seem to have a blind spot when it comes to picking husbands. She IS on her third marriage--says the previous two husbands were unfaithful (which is possible). I hope this marriage works out for ED, because her children certainly have been through enough chaos already.

Fox and Friends are informed about a variety of things. They conduct good interviews that are fun. They don't take themselves too seriously and that is refreshing. The other morning shows are stiff and elitist and when they attempt humor, it comes off fake or plain not funny. Brian can be callous but it is interesting to see what he is going to pop off! We need more shows where the hosts are not pretending to be unbiased.

I watch Imus when he is on PMSNBC. That is the only thing worth watching on that channel. When they pre-empt Imus I switch to F & F but it is usually boring.
I like the F & F personalities but they have lost their "edge".

...The only thing worse about the Paula Zhan (than Zhan herself) is that Jeanne Moos.....
Jeanne Moos is living proof that you don't have to be a beautiful blonde and blue eyed woman to suceed as an infobabe.
You only need to be blonde and blue eyed.

Don't watch Fox & Friends. Too much unnecessary chatter. Each tries to over talk the other and cannot follow what they are trying to say. However, do watch all of the other Fox Shows except Alan Cones part!

Fox and Friends are informed about a variety of things. Not lately. The sniper story cannot sustain three hours of viewing.
It may be that the show is premised on the belief that early morning
viewers only watch a little of the show, the leave for work. So they
keep the number of news items throttled down. I can understand that.
But the same thing day after day after day is a turnoff.

Fox and Friends was good to me in the mornings, especially when I needed a laugh. But their routine gets old. During the past week or so, I'm sure many continuously were flipping channels just as I for more informative info on the snipers. Paula Zahn sucks too.

.....the dark haired guy is an out and out liberal....
Au contraire my Texas friend. I thought Brian Kilmeade was a flyweight until 911. He went onto the streest of New York to interview folks and guess what fly was drawn to the camera??? No less than Bill Clinton who muscled his way through those assembled into the lime light.
The first question out of the box, Brian asked TRIMPOTUS "Do you feel your administration is responsible for the terrorists who crashed into the Trade Center?"
Clinton turned red in the face and mumbled no, then he regained his composure and rattled off a bunch of noncommittal nonsense and then left.
Since nailing the bad guy to the wall, Brian has moved up considerably in my level of respect. When the time was right he nailed the son of a bitch to the wall.

I've gotta chime in because I really like fox and friends. Brian Kilmede is hilarious. He has great subtle humor. It's a morning show you watch while you are getting everybody out the door - it's supposed to be light. At least that's what I think.

The answer to this is that most conservatives work for a living and are not home to watch FOX and FRIENDS, however the liberal left are home, and they watch Paula.
To: kcat
i get a kick out of them too, they are far from cerebral in their discussions, much more like a bunch of people sitting on bar stools giving their opinions and that is what i like about it.

You're right about the Fox and Friends people. They act silly and usually have nothing to say. E.D. Hill dresses like a street-walker. Actually most of the women on Fox dress like street-walkers and wear way too much make-up.
To: kcat
I agree with you - it is great, light morning entertainment and they aren't PC. I can't stand pretty Paula -she is dumb as a box of rocks.
To: Alissa
I like F & F because they are sort of goofy and I actually find myself laughing. Most morning I need a good laugh and a little joviality. Imus is too somber and too patronizing to the elite media.
I agree I love the show but I have always felt, since day one, that they would do better at the Greta time slot or even later!!! get younger folks hooked on fox
