"...[John Muhammad] Williamss unit was sent to Operation Desert Storm to clear mines and bulldoze holes in enemy lines. A few nights before the invasion of Iraq, Sergeant Berentson awoke in the early hours to find his tent, with 16 sleeping men inside, on fire. Someone had tossed in a thermite grenade. Berentson, who was fed up with Williamss insubordination, immediately suspected Williams and told the Armys Criminal Investigative Division. Berentson says he last saw Williams being led away in handcuffs. Williamss military records make no mention of the incident; indeed, they suggest Williams had a distinguished gulf-war stint. But Berentson always kept Williamss name and dog-tag number in his wallet. He says he was not surprised to see Williamss face on television..."
Back to the current attacks:
"...A witness outside the Fredericksburg, Va., Michaels craft store, scene of a shooting on Oct. 4, reported a dark-colored vehicle with New Jersey tags leaving the scene. A woman calling the tip line on Oct. 7 said she had spotted a black man crouching beneath the dashboard in a dark Chevy Caprice. The woman was struck by the intensity of the mans stare. The agent on the tip line brushed her off. Were looking for a white truck, she said.

IIRC, they are suspects in the murder of the Tacoma, Wash. woman who's home that pic was taken in.
I know freepers won't like this post. But, here it is anyway.
Not only did the snipers have a laugh, but the US deported two law abiding, hard-working, family-oriented men. Their lives, which they were building in the US, through hardwork and initiative, were completely disrupted by the incompetent task force. They were sent to back to the hell hole from which they worked so hard to escape.
Instead, the snipers went on to kill another day.
I wish some "genie" could make losers like John Muhammed forfeit their American citizenship. And, I mean he would have lost it long before he became sniper. And his citizenship then awarded to a deserving, value-added man like the poor illegal alien who was deported.
Muhammad served from 1978 to 1985 in the Louisiana National Guard, where he faced disciplinary charges twice - including a conviction for striking a noncommissioned officer in the head while on duty.
He subsequently managed to enlist in the regular Army....how that was accomplished needs to be explained.
HRH Gen Prince Khalid Bin Sultan has indicated that during the Gulf War 1991 there were a fair amount of US troops who embraced Islam mainly due to the purity of this religion. And some of the figures which he had provided in his most readable book are only about the personnel who took part in the Gulf War - 1991.
I'm not to sure about Bin Sultan's accuracy, however.
Too bad she didn't get any of the tag numbers or letters, when she noticed the Jersey tags!
" Muhammad joined the Army National Guard in Louisiana in 1978, and moved to the active Army in 1985. He served as an Army combat engineer in the 1991 Gulf War. He eventually attained the rank of sergeant (E-5), and received an honorable discharge on April 25, 1994, from Fort Lewis in Washington state, Pentagon sources said.
That, however, did not end his association with the military. Muhammad joined the Army National Guard in Oregon in 1995 and served for a year. Again, he left with an honorable discharge."
I don't know what you mean.
"Any alterations made to the trunk of the vehicle to accommodate the heinous acts of the alleged snipers did not occur while Bordentown Township owned this vehicle," Roselli said. The alterations we made were only to accommodate the use of camera equipment in the trunk of the car.
Your quote from the Seabee combat handbook creates a small confusion. The AN-M14 incendiary (thermite) hand grenade is NOT a bursting grenade as suggested by the first paragraph you posted. The AN-M14 only produces a localized very high intensity heat source and molten iron. Thermite is NOT an explosive.
The confusion in what you posted arises from the way your source laid out that page of their manual. The first paragraph you posted was actually the last paragraph of the preceding sub-chapter entitled "Chemical grenades" (tear gas). They mistakenly interposed the graphic of the AN-M14 thermite grenade one paragraph too soon in their page layout.
Your second paragraph is precisely on point and an accurate description of the operation of the AN-M14. Hope this clears up the confusion.

Boot Hill
