President Bush made a swing through Dixie today as he stumped for candidates in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama. Bush also took time to call Montgomery County Police Chief Charles Moose to thank him for his hard work in the Beltway Sniper case. Bush heads to his Crawford, Texas ranch tonight for a meeting with Chinese President Jiang Zemin tomorrow. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

My timing is like Ohio's - I was in North Carolina and our W comes to Pa. for a campaign swing. Grrrr.. Then I leave North Carolina and he goes there for a campaign swing. Grrrrr...

I drive home from North Carolina and drive the long way around to Pa. to avoid the DC area - my family was hysterical - go up Route 15 through FREDERICK and Gettysburg they say. I do as they ask. FREDERICK is where they captured the sniper. My timing is great, dontcha think????? Sheeesssshhhhh. Oh well, Mike, your neck of the woods was beautiful. Went past the Camp David exit too!!!! No President Bush. He's in Carolina. Grrrrrr.....

When you past rt.70 on 15 you were 11 miles east from where they caught the 2 killers. I could see the flashing lights and the helicopters from the deck on the back of my house last night. Where I live you can see for miles and miles on a clear day or night mostly because of the elevation.
