MOSCOW (AP) Armed men entered a Moscow theater Wednesday and took the audience hostage, the Federal Security Service said.
The theater was holding a performance of the musical Nord-Ost, one of the Russian capital's most popular productions.
The Interfax news agency said one of its reporters was inside the theater at the time of the raid. She told them in a telephone call that the men had fired into the air and were preventing the audience from leaving, the agency said.
Police units were on their way to the scene.

Either that or they're just crazy. They figure Allah will bail them out. (Only problem is that Allah doesn't exist)

Guess the news from Moscow will trump any national coverage of the mentally disabled voter fraud story in Kenosha!

Although the numbers are much smaller in Bali, Americans did nothing for the Australians.
Dude, in all honesty Americans have become completely self-involved to the point where 10,000 Russians could die today and the most you'd see is people putting flowers and items in front of Russian consulates.

The only odd ball out is China which was fighting against the axis in WWII and was glad to have the US support in the Pacific. Now they are supporting Islamists on the world stage. China's economy is tied to the U.S. They were the first to hurt during the dock strike. I think their hostility to America is just a reflex the old men of China can't put in the past.
they think Christians are a problem. Wait 'till they get a good look at Islam.

There was a link posted a lot last year, to a very graphic video of a Russian soldier having his throat cut. Wasn't that a Chechen doing the cutting? These people are like feral dogs. No, wait, that's an insult to dogs.

I agree. Hope we offer them all the support possible.
Russia and America were contenders for the Western Crown, so to speak. We won. But like all good fighters, we have a real bond with Russia, and I hope neither they nor we forget it.

Sadly, I agree. The lack of response to Bali was disturbing. I tried to write it off by saying we were too absorbed at that moment by the Iraq war resolution. And that it didn't actually happen in Australia. We'll just have to see how this plays out.

You heard anything about this report??? About the blood between the rows? Yes. see my post #191. I am not going to speculate wether they already killed any hostages, though it seems very probable.

I prefer typical Russian understanding.
To: livius
Agreed, well said.
To: BrooklynGOP
Hostages killed as examples to persuade the rest into line.
