Just heard on the radio that 50 Angel fans are on a catamaran in McCovey Cove, with a pirate flag and rally monkey songs. The Giants fans are, of course, chucking batteries at them.
In other news, I left my sprinklers on since Sunday....keep sending the water NoCals! My lawn won't be green enough until Hetch Hetchy is empty.
Being a transplant from LA, I always find most of the people (i.e. the Dems) up here almost insuferably amusing.
The water wars is a case in point. The SFer's started the whole "save Mono Lake" thing and after a long drawn out fight have succeeded in forcing the City of LA to "restore" Mono Lake to a level approaching it's levels circa 1930-40.
I think it fair and equally applicable to force SF to restore the Hetch Hetchy Valley, which according to John Muir was every bit the equal to the Yosemite Valley (vs. Mono lake which is monotony in itself)
The cost would be minimal. Just drain the lake and let nature take it's course. Leave the damn Dam as a reminder to the ecodestruction perpetrated by the city of SF.
Regarding the battery throwing.... typical classless giant fans. If you really want to tick them off, wear a Dodger cap.

Had to be a fake, people calling in just to screw with them. But I also saw that they anounced the results, like 30 seconds after announcing the question. What did they get 20 hits? Seven claiming to be Dodger fans rooting for the Giants?
No way. No self respecting LA area fan has anything against the Angels, like they would have against the Giants.

Joe Satriani (ala jimi)

Also, if you have Bermuda or St. Augustine, it's now going dormant, so it won't green up until April. Fescue (Marathon) on the other hand is a cool season grass, but doesn't need much water in the winter.
As for the Gnats fans, they hate everything associated with SoCal - sort of like penis envy. They know the big dog is down south.
Wear a Dodger cap and get a 12-volt thrown at you... &^)

We don't hate everything from Southern California. Dodgers Suck! We actually like Disneyland. Dodgers Suck! I think Santa Barbara is beautiful. Dodgers Suck! Venice Beach is a terrific place. Dodgers Suck! And did I mention The Dodgers Suck!!!?
