I'm Tired of This, And I Want Something Done (Open Letter to the RNC)

My Fellow Republicans,

I am in complete frustration at your lack of response to the Democratic/Media harping on the "Bad Economy".

May I give you some advice...RESPOND TO THESE UNFOUNDED CLAIMS!!!!

If the economy is so bad, what would the Democrats do to fix it? Would they lower taxes even further to allow more money to be invested and/or spent by the taxpayers? Would they lower the capital gains tax to a flat 2%, or would they eliminate it completely? Would they create a "flat tax" on income? Would they cut wasteful government spending? Would they decrease government intrusion into capital markets by eliminating useless regulations? Would they eliminate the marriage penalty, or the death tax to insure that we, The People, keep more of OUR hard earned money? I think you know the answers to those questions!

It was the previous administration that, puposefully let the books get "cooked" and you know that as well as your loyal Republican base does. Point this out! Don't let the Democrats have the upper hand in this debate. It's a proven fact that Republicans in power means a better economy. Bill Clinton had SQUAT to do with the good economy. The best part of the 90s economy came because of the Reagan/Bush years. The Clinton administration and the Democratic controlled congress passed the largest tax increase in history to steal even more from We The People. That resulted in the Republican triumph of '94. That's where the economy started growing. Could you please start pointing this out.

The silence from the RNC on this issue is deafening to your loyal base. If you don't believe me go to FreeRepublic.com on your friendly computer and you will get an earfull, and it won't be pleasant, but it will be truthful.

I worked for Barry Goldwater before I could vote, for crying out loud. I've never voted for a democrat! I'm sick and tired of Republicans getting slapped in the chops with socialist lies and we loyal Republicans having our leadership just stand there and take it. I'm a fighter, and I want to fight! We have the truth on our side, the most formitable weapon known to man, but our leadership won't take it out of it's sheath.

Again, if you think that I'm in the minority on this just come over to FreeRepublic, 80,000 strong, vocal and growing. You need to wake up and draw the sword of truth, you need to start the biggest "street fight" that this country has ever seen, and you need to do it NOW!!!!

The Republican party represents all that is good in this great nation, all that is American. Americans fight for what is right, they don't lay there and get kicked.

A loyal Republican

Timydnuc

(Of course I signed my real name))

P.S.

While you're at it straighten out the PARTIAL, VOLUNTARY, privatization of Social Security. I really can't go into how upset I am about this, my paper supply is running low.

I am just mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!

The original draft of this letter was done WITH spell check, so it is accurate. (this is for the English Teacher FReepers).

We probably ARE responding. However, there is no law that requires the Commie Prevert Terrorist-Coddling Democrat-Assisting Mass Media to put out anything we say.

If your mad...pickup the phone and tell them, and make sure your clear on the fact that not ONE contribution is forth coming from your household.

But, don't hold you breath waiting for an answer . They'll just call again the following month begging for a donation! You'll tell em again, and the next month they'll call again, ect ect.

Republican National Committee is responding and also doing lots of Opposition Research that I am posting on here that comes to me for posting.

Chairman Racicot is doing a great job -- the reason it is posted on here is because the media refuse to get the Republican message out! They prefer to print the RAT talking point papers as facts.

Complain in 2000 because I did that as well as anyone, but not now, this RNC is so much better than 2000 and Chairman Racicot and his people are working all kinds of hours to get the truth out.

Two articles I posted on here came in my inbox over the weekend -- one after 10 CDT on Saturday and ditto one on Sunday night so don't tell me that RNC isn't doing anything!

I sent my contribution to FR. Proud to write the check, sorry it couldn't be more. I would urge y'all to do the same.

This is the voice of logic and reason. This is the voice that will save this glorious Republic. It doesn't hurt and it goes to a good cause. If you think about it, your contribution goes right back to you.

They sure as the devil can do more!

Look what kind of effort we, here at FR, put out. When the RNC works as hard as FReepers then, and only then, will I agree with you.

I'm not being confrontational, and I understand how socialist the media is, but I want to see some blood sweat and tears from the RNC. If FReepers can go "above and beyond" they sure as he!! should!

Thank you, and don't ever be sorry! We all do what we can :)

Great letter. We need more people like you that "bother" to take the time to let the RNC know what we are thinking.

Thanks for taking the time to do that!

Thank you for your kind remarks.

I just couldn't let this build up inside of me. I needed to speak my mind!

It's typically considered improper to use multiple exclamation points!!!!

If the economy is so bad, what would the Democrats do to fix it?

My suggestion for the RNC is to ask the 'rats this question and then, for each answer they get, respond by pointing out that their proposed measure was tried by the former Soviet Union and was found to be counterproductive.

Bill Clinton had SQUAT to do with the good economy.

Another point the RNC doesn't seem to be making forcefully enough (if at all) is that the reason the stock market was rising twice as fast as normal under Clinton was because of 1) the dot-com bubble inflating and 2) book-cooking by CEOs who were emboldened by trickle-down immorality.

Excellant points!

You will note, in my letter, that the RNC leadership should come to FR for some talking points. You are just and average FReeper, like myself, which makes you a WAY above average citizen. We are bright, informed, intelligent and logical. Most importantly we are the fiber of America.

I would urge you to write the RNC as well.

You must have missed it sweetie. Dubya brilliantly has done a yeoman's job of keeping the economy out of the election dialogue, because they discovered that when the economy was the focus, Dubya's numbers begin to tank, but when he talks about national security his popularity increases.

The RNC is worried about attacking Clinton to the masses, remember, an attack on Clinton to liberals is akin to an attack on Jesus Christ to a Christian.

Relax. Jorge Bush has a plan. He will bring the entire population of Mexico here and they will all become instant Pubbies and vote for him. The boy needs some time in the real world.

AMEN!! Great letter. I've been writing the RNC as well - not with your talent tho'. Great idea to direct them to FR for their talking points. While I agree the RNC is better under Mark R - they still have to work harder to overcome the liberal media's ties to the RATS.
