Where does that stop the election law come from??????
To: Wphile
Talk is that the NJ Dems may ask Clintoon to set up residence in NJ and run for the seat. He has until Monday. But this ignores that the Dems are currently stuck with the Torch by NJ law. He could end up a "bridesmaid" with no wedding. Plus a possible Clintoon loss is the last thing the Dems need.

How I feel for you. The Misses screens the guests before we attend a dinner party. I don't get along well with liberals... she gets embarrassed when we are ask to leave. During Clinton's eight years, we spent plenty of Saturday nights doing other things. Despite trying to find other subjects to discuss, politics always rears its ugly head. The worst liberals I have found, are teachers.

You can't hold an election anywhere, lose it, quit your office and say have another election for the lost office!!!
To: MJY1288
Okay, MJY...yours words are soothing. I just can't get over how corrupt and manipulative the democratic party is. It's absolutely unbelievable to me.
So, who's the 4? I had previously stated NJ, MN, SD, and MO. Are you still thinking NJ goes to the GOP?

This is just the prelude. He will rsign in two weeks and the Gov. will try to cancel the election.Won't work. Direct violation of the public's Seventeenth Amendment right to elect their own Senators. The election MUST be held on November 5. If McGreevey attempts a cancellation, Forrester might as well go ahead and start measuring his Senate office for new carpets.
To: Wphile
I was surprised by that. And now we have him withdrawing. I wonder what has happened in the mean time?
To: Howlin
We picked a bad month to stop sniffing glue, didn't we? LOL - I still miss Lloyd Bridges - what a hoot he was ;-)
To: Wphile
Not only did he thank Clinton, he APOLOGIZED to Clinton for not having his strength! BARF!!
To: Heff
Stay out of 7-11's.
To: marajade
Forrester's attorney's are speaking. This is a federal matter, ballots have gone out-absentee ballots and military is voting on these ballots now.
I don't think the senate will be voting for a while unless this shocked them back to reality.

Evil, hell.
This is nothing more than a sleazy "bait and switch" that would have a person running a business in JAIL!!!

Legal in the State of New Jersey or The Federal Courts??
In the State doesn't sounds like it .. in the Federal Courts .. it sounds unconsitutional
I guess the question now is .. Where are they going to be filing these papers??

"Torricelli also gave the democratic response to President Bush's radio address."Hmmmm. Nice catch. This really is something to behold. It will be interesting to see what develops....

Some guy on Fox that I didn't recognize said that Toricelli dropped 20 points in a poll after the memo.
To: Hillarys Gate Cult
No way could I see Clinton doing this, No Way! All that sweet cash he would miss out on. No Way!
To: Dianna
Not only did he thank Clinton, he APOLOGIZED to Clinton for not having his strength! BARF!!Barf is right. Sheesh...Torricelli is even worse than I thought.
To: hchutch
Yep. "Bait and Switch" is an excellent way to present it, and the GOP is already speaking in those terms.
