This is a Daschle comment from this morning quoted by Fred Francis of MSNBC. Daschle was commenting about how the President has not gone far enough in being conciliatory to the Democrats. Daschle is now saying that because of the lack of trust they feel, they may not pass Homeland Security or an Iraq resolution prior to going home to campaign. Your comments are welcome. Hopefully, you will all fight back. This comment was particularly beyond the pale, don't you think? This is war, folks. Our President is being savaged and undermined during a time of war. They are now also asking the question, "Are you better off than you were two years ago?" This garbage must not stand!

Daschle losing the Senate because of Johnson is the best thing since AlGore lost Tennessee.

I'd be satisfied if they gave him an up or down on ANY of his legislation, but they won't do it.
They were "left behind" on 9-11; this country is not the country they thought they would have by now.

I am purchasing a new computer. It was going to be a Gateway till I remembered it was made in South Dakota, now it will be a Dell. Please be sure to write to Gateway and let them know why they lost that sale.

Good for you for contacting everyone you can! That's what we all need to do. This is our country and our President - we must fight for them both. I'm listening to Powell now.

Why don't you start a thread on exactly that? Then we can all do some research on various mcauliffe, daschle, clinton, etc quotes that politicized the war. Should be a snap. We need to spread information far and wide I would if I had the time. I am just checking posts from time to time until I leave. Sorry, It's a great idea though. If someone else gets it started, ping me for later. Otherwise, I'll start it up tomorrow.

Order of precedence:
1. Daschle
2. Democrap Party
3. NWO
4. USA
Ground Rule: How can little Tommy sell out number 4 to benefit the first 3.

I know you are right....Im just gun-shy....so many years of issues going the Rats way....I can't express in words how I feel about this sh%thole Dasshole....
To: Wait4Truth
Call every RAT officeholder you know -- federal, state and local -- tell them you are voting straight Republican in November, and exactly why due to the cowardice and obstruction of Daschle. Enough is enough.
They'll get the message.
Frankly, I am beginning to believe that Daschle is off the reservation and does not have the support of his caucus for his continued tirades. There may be much more going on here than we realize.

I agree: I think this is seriously damaging to the President's efforts to get the debate on the Iraqi threat off the dime.
Daschle will be the responsible party if an American city goes POOF.
If we don't get Saddam now, there will be more than hell to pay. But the Rats seem intent on denying Bush support for the war based on their own self-ash reasons.

LOL!

He know's they get killed if they do that. Then I say we DEMAND that it be put to a vote......LOL.

I'm worried, too. We've seen it before.
We will dance in the streets on November 5th if we retake the Senate. At this point, although I know how important the judiciary is, I WANT DASCHLE to have to turn over that gavel. That's MY number on priority!

And Daschle wants to avoid giving Bush something to veto--which would become a platform for Bush having to explain, again, how the Rats put their special interests above national security.
To: mwl1
Come to think of it, we should write place some stories that Daschle's leadership position is being threatened behind the scenes by Lieberman, Dodd, and Murray.

I heard about a new resolution being presented to the RATS - more to "their" liking...if they refuse to vote, they will look very bad.
To: johnb838
"That's a bluff if I've ever heard one. He know's they get killed if they do that." I agree. That's what's so weird about this - the Dims know they should pass the resolution and get Iraq off the front page, but they just can't bring themselves to do it.
To: Dog
Heard a little bit ago that daschle is not going to allow Homeland Security or Iraq to come to a vote before they leave for the elections.
We need to spread that word that the DemocRATs put party and unions over Country!
It is mandatory that every last Republican get out and vote this November. If they don't like the Republican candidate, hold their nose and vote straight Republican!
Let's send daschle/clinton/gephardt/biden/leahy and the rest of the slimey RATs a message!
VOTE REPUBLICAN IN NOV 2002
ELECT A BUSH MAJORITY IN THE HOUSE AND SENATE
DEFEAT DASCHLE/CLINTON/GEPHARDT DEMOCRATS!
To: blackdog
Never know when you throw their crap back at 'em what might stick. Worth considering.
To: Howlin
Actually, wasn't that Terry Moran from ABC? He's the one that asked about 7 questions...all the same question.
