The US Flag Balloon will be attending the 29th Annual National Balloon Rally in Statesville, NC this weekend.
Flights are as follows(all weather permitting):
Friday AM- Sunrise media flight
Friday PM- About 6:00PM
Saturday PM- About 6:00PM
If you live in the Statesville area, come on out and help crew or just watch the balloons! We will be handing out pocket Constitutions and flying the flag.

This weekend our crew chief will be none other than Taxman! So watch out for pics of him throughout the weekend. Hopefully if I ask Dixie Sass really nice, she will do some video taping for me... .
You will be able to find us. When the balloon isn't up, you can't miss the vehicles.

Can't wait to see the that smaller version. Everytime I think about CPAC - I see the "boys" playing with the model of the balloon at CPAC. See y'all tomorrow afternoon!

This smaller version will be about 20 feet across, the one at CPAC was 5.
