Ouch! That hurts! MSNBC is usually are so good at making sure they have only a few token Republicans in those audiences.
No milk and cookies for this crowd!

Would you like smelling salts, sir? (You can use mine - I had them out already)

Don't bet on it. What part of immediate did you not understand? I think this will be measured in weeks. A resolution supporting all resolutions and stating specific consequences for violation WILL BE AUTHORIZED, and that real soon. IMMEDIATE compliance will not be an option. Did you not hear the man say that Iraq could have nuclear weapons within a year? They are on the clock and will not have long.

Brenda Butler, on FNC, just stated that the selling could be a result of Greenspan's statements this morning (investor's not hearing what they wanted from Greenspan...because he basically said nothing).

Mike Gravel; he supports Scott Ritter; he also supported Daniel Ellsberg. He was a congresscritter. UGH.

Thanks for the ping, it was a great speech. Clear, reasoned, and drew a line in the Iraqi sand between the choices the U.N. must make between backing up what they claim to uphold, or be seen as a body that issue's worthless paper sanctions signifying nothing.
Bush really took the bull by the horns today.

I love Bush but I believe that came more from his crew.
Bush is more of a big picture kind of guy..I can see him saying..give me the evidence..and then his crew putting together the cogent analysis and his speech writers putting together the speech.

WOW - What a document. I sent it to RNC and requested they post the entire document on their website AND to submit to ALL media outlets. Congress needs to receive it as well..........from some of the comments I've heard from the stupid Dems, they haven't read it.

Thanks for starting this great thread.
The heads up by my friend last night re the London Times Article about what GW was going to do and say at the UN was right on target.
I had some pre planned personal stuff that couldn't be delayed, so I couldn't watch and listen.
However, this thread might have been even better than listening to it.
After Jennings remark last night and Possum Kristol's remarks on Fox this morning after our President's great speech, the following gif is very appropriate!:

And YOU are brilliant for this analogy:
".. As a litagator, he kicks Johnny Cochrans @$$." I hadn't thought to grade the speech in legal terms, but absolutely, if President Bush were prosecutor speaking to a jury, they would give him a unanimous verdit of "guilty". President Bush laid out the crimes clearly, and gave undeniable proof those crimes are still being committed by the global perp, Saddam.

This has been a very good week! Started off Saturday and has continued!
This speech was great! Hard to believe what I am picking up on the different channels with the Monday morning quarterbacks almost all agreeing. CNN reporting that in European capitals the speech was well received and US is picking up support!

This is the fastest thread to 1000 I've ever seen on FR.
