National Republican Senatorial Committee Petition to Senate Democrats to Pass the Budget Resolution
Senator Daschle, as Majority Leader of the United States Senate, we urge you to fulfill one of your most important duties, and pass a budget resolution.
We understand that by passing a budget resolution, government spending will be kept in check, thus preventing runaway spending which could lead to long-term deficits that threaten economic growth and job creation.
Senator Daschle it's time to quit playing partisan politics.

From NRSC: TAKE ACTION!For the first time since 1974, the Senate has failed to pass a budget resolution. The President put forward and the House passed a budget but Senator Daschle and the Democrat controlled Senate have failed to keep their promise.
Without a budget resolution Democrat Senators, such as Barbara Milkuski (D-MD), feel that they now have carte blanche to spend your money. As Chairman of the appropriations subcommittee that funds the departments of Veterans Affairs and Housing and Urban Development, she is steering hundreds of millions of federal dollars to states represented by eight of the most vulnerable Democrat lawmakers up for reelection this fall.
Tell Senate Democrats that when they return from August recess they should show some fiscal discipline and pass a budget resolution.
FR THREAD -- THE DEMOCRAT SENATE HAS NO BUDGET FOR FIRST TIME IN OVER 25 YEARS

The Pubs need to chat this up on every talk show they can. The Democrats in the Senate have lied and failed the American People for their own agenda.

Signed! I would urge everyone to sign this, even if you are third party people. To not pass the budget resolution is irresponsible.
