MSNBC'S 'DONAHUE' HITS LOWEST NIELSEN RATING POSSIBLE

Phil Donahue has plunged in total collapse on MSNBC with cable viewers, NIELSEN ratings show.

DONAHUE has sunk to a basement rating of a .1, according to sources, the lowest possible rating's measure available!

Last Friday night, DONAHUE earned a .1 to CONNIE CHUNG's .6 on CNN and O'REILLY's 1.0 on FOX NEWS.

Even more amazingly, MSNBC for the entire day average only a 0.2, and it was beaten by both CNN'S HEADLINE NEWS channel and CNBC that day. (FOX was .6, CNN .5, MSNBC .2).

For the month of August, MSNBC's M-F prime time is down 21% among the key demos (25-54) from a year ago. Year over year, in total weekday ratings, FOX is up 75%, CNN is up 25%, and MSNBC is flat, with 0% growth.

According to Drudge, the rating can't drop any lower. 0.1 is the lowest rating. So in actuality, the real rating could be more like 0.004 but it is posted as 0.1 because that is the lowest rating that is awarded.

Does that mean that only one person watched the show?

It's so great that the liberal media is totally flummoxed. They can't understand that their liberal nonsense (indeed horrorific) message is like poison, and their messengers are like Dr. Kervorkian. No way that combo is going anywhere, no how much they polish and spin.

Topic: How to accomplish the same thing you have accomplished with Phil Donahoe without having to pay the production costs:

1. Have someone in Graphics make up this message:

"Republicans are evil. Vote Democrat this November. Thanks. MSNBC Management."

2. Post the message during Phil's time slot on a daily basis.

3. Lay off Phil's production staff.

Results:

1. You get your intended message across at the same level of effectiveness.

2. Your death spiral ratings stay the same.

3. Phil can have his freed-up production staff over every evening and pretend like they're doing a real TV show...

...just like now.

I think you are referring to "The Rutles" which was a movie parody of the story of the Beatles, not a series. I wasn't born 'till 15 years after it came out so I'm relying on what I heard on vh1 once.
