Cool weather and overcast skies welcomed our guests, one from KC (KSCityBoy), and the other was BobWade, (the Ziplet’s father & Zip’s son) to their first Columbia, Missouri Post Office counter demonstration.
After choosing signs, grabbing water bottles, and checking out the competition, we took up our posts. Acknowledgements of our presence were immediately made known with thumbs up for America gestures. We enjoyed Zip working the traffic and keeping the enthusiasm flowing. When Zip stepped back, BobWade stepped forward, generations passing the torch.

The hour passed by quickly and soon enough the peaceniks gathered their signs together and moved on till next week. They will be back reminding us that those who seek America’s downfall and destruction are not necessarily from outside. We are proud to have a few FReepers who will take to the streets to support America and her troops.

KSCityBoy insists the lead peacenut looks like Gallagher - the guy who demolishes everything with his Sledge-O-Matic. I’d never thought about it till he mentioned it, but he was right. Not only is there a physical similarity, but a similar gimmick. The peacenuts would destroy all that is American if they could. This week’s FReep countered their intentions.

Again, thanks to Amy for the extra help and A BIG THANK YOU to our FRiend from Kansas City who drove over 130 miles this morning to help us out. Thanks KC. Bobwade drove up from Eldon (60 miles) so we're getting almost international (hey, here in Missouri we consider anything over 10/15 miles a major trip. :)
