Hey Md Freepers, heads up!
Tonight Kathleen Kennedy Townsend will appear on the MPT (Channels 67, 26) call in show "Direct Connection." It would be great to have Conservatives launch her some hard balls.
It's at 7:30 and the phone number to call will be at the bottom of the screen I'm sure.

will the KKT administration repeal some of the draconian and extreme environmental regulations put in place by her predecessor and give Maryland property owners a brake?

I have a suspicion that in her case the show will be tape delayed. There's too big of a risk she'll open her mouth.

give Maryland property owners a brake? That's the problem - they have put a brake on property owners. Or did you mean "break"?

Well, we'll just have to come armed with a "fair and balanced" line then.

Or did you mean "break"? Its the KKT effect. We are all excused from typoooos until after the election.

Did you catch the typical liberal NY Times puff piece on KKT yesterday?
A Kinder, Gentler Kennedy Runs for Governor
http://www.nytimes.com/2002/08/12/opinion/12MON3.html
No mention of her stumbling and bumbling.
No mention of her inaccessability.
Mentions black disappointment that she didn't name a black running mate but not a word about Ehrlich's selection.
Just more NY Times BS

Thanks for the ping, but I am not up on MD politics. (Politics from the latin roots:
poly meaning many and
ticks meaning small blood-sucking parasites.)
Shalom.

Thanks for the pings !! The Washington Post may have given us some ideas for questions in their article today about KKT's anti-crime grants legacy.
Check this FR thread for link to the article. (a short aside):
I was a "guest" on an MPT show a couple of years ago. I was up against a spokeswomyn for Takoma Park's Handgun Ban referendum... which referendum was ruled illegal by a judge shortly before the TP election, costing TP extra money to reprint the ballots. :-) That lawsuit was brought by two TP residents (not me) with the help of Jim Purtilo, Marylanders for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership, folks who bought MPFO Rifle Raffle tickets, and other TripWire and Direct Action supporters. For a real hoot, Check this page at direct-action.org and see who won the MPFO Summer 2000 Rifle Raffle. WHOOO HOOO !!!

I emailed the following question to the question box on the website:
As you know, urban school children are disadvantaged by being trapped in failing public schools. Do you think they and their families should be empowered with school choice which includes a voucher system?
