Cynthia McKinney Trails in latest poll
The Polling Report | August 4, 2002 | Self

Posted on 08/04/2002 12:19:09 PM PDT by jmaroneps37

A new poll, taken in Rep. Cynthia Mc Kinney's(D) 4th Gorgia Congressional District,July 29, 30 and 31, 2002, shows her trailing in a primary race against Denise Majette 41 - 39. The numbers for Mc Kinney look especially bad, because with just three weeks until election day, her job proformance numbers show her 60/38 negative- positive. Since her name recognition is 98%, and Majette's is just 28%, an A B C ( anybody But Cynthia) mood seems to be sweeping the district.

GOP voters in Georgia...you can crossover and get rid of low-life McKinney. She's actually scary.

You may want to give some of the business owners on her list a pass. Like I said earlier, McKinney has been pretty upfront about the fact that she won't even give the time of day to businesses in her district unless they support her. She is a shakedown artist on par with Jesse Jackson. When faced with two choices "support me or I'll make your life miserable", most business just pay the money. They don't have time to get in a fight with someone like McKinney who has no scruples when it come to getting what she wants.

I won't give business owners a pass on this. It's more expensive in the long run when they don't stand up to what amounts to highway robbery.

The founding fathers could have "gotten by" cheaper by ignoring the Barbary Pirates and just paying their tribute and ransoms. Instead, we sent in the Marines ("To the shores of Tripoli!") and took care of business.

We Georgians need to send in the Marines to the 4th District.

"good example of liberal"

I do believe that there is plenty of other good examples of liberal lunacy in congress.

You're such a victim! (belated boo-hoo for you)

I have Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein for senators.

My state is completely run by democrats

The difference is that (A) I don't like sitting around feeling sorry for myself and (B) I don't see any advantage in running around shouting slogans, ranting, or exagerating (oh this NIGHTMARE!!!) ;-) LOL

The fate of congress isn't going to be decided by Mckinneys race. The more important action is probably going to be in the senate races, especially if you would like to see the makeup of the judicial system changed.

Now I realize that it makes people feel better, manlier, etc. to get on FR and talk about 'their NIGHTMARES' or 'You'll take it out of my cold dead hands' or 'The UN is trying to kill my family!' , but there ARE more constructive things you can do.

Have you given to any republican senate campaigns?

You mean for once the open primary gimmick is working in favor of Republicans in that they can help defeat the odious McKinney? Will wonders never cease!

Strictly speaking, Republicans won't benefit this time. This district will have a Democrat in Congress no matter what.

From Neil Boortz today:

WILL THE MUSLIMS SAVE CYNTHIA

In just a few weeks we’ll be voting here in Georgia on whether or not to send the representative of the Islamic World back to Congress. You know her as Georgia Democrat Cynthia McKinney. The Arab and Muslim world knows her as “our representative” in the U.S. House of Representatives.

I knew that Cynthia was getting a lot of donations from people with Arabic names who live outside of Georgia. I didn’t know the word “most” would apply here though. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that “Most of McKinney's individual donors listed on disclosure reports in 2001 and this year have Arabic names and live out of state.”

Most …

Many of Cynthia’s donors are individuals or officials in organizations that are being investigated for ties to terrorism.

Now … here’s another surprise. Another surprise of the use of the word “most.”

The law says that a campaign must report a donation showing a date that donation was received. Do you care to make a guess as to when “most” of Cynthia’s donations from people with Arabic names – and who live outside of Georgia – were received? That day would be September 11, 2001. Yup, THAT day. On the very day that Arabs are flying airplanes into the World Trade Towers and the Pentagon, Arabs are pouring campaign cash into the coffers of Cynthia McKinney.

McKinney has only the smallest amount of campaign financial support from Georgia, let alone her own district. My guess is that she’ll probably be reelected anyway. Most of the voters in her district who are actually bright enough to see what is going on here will be playing tennis or golf on primary day.

Neil pounds on this communist almost daily. www.boortz.com

When I had the money to spare- yes... and other people and causes besides.

Any particular reason you chose the members you did for your abrasive comments?

Exactly. If McKinney wins, America loses. So, once again, Republicans selflessly save the world!

Each of you were on the addressee line of the earlier message from dansangel. I didn't want anyone to feel left out.
