Hannity Blasts FreeRepublic (maybe he is right)
Radio
| Sean Hannity
Posted on 08/02/2002 2:40:49 PM PDT by jbstrick
Hannity just stated on his radio show that he has just about had enough of the conservative cannibals on this board. To many threads end up being ledd about news and information and more about attacking fellow conservatives.
He said if he wants to get attacked he will go to a Liberal board.
I have a tendency to agree...

Like anybody else who took on the Clinton regime and wouldn't back down: everything.

I do not see anything wrong with the government encouraging abstinence in the public school system. Even if one does not consider this to be a moral objective, it also serves a functionalist point.

Like anybody else who took on the Clinton regime and wouldn't back down: everything. How did he "take on" the Clinton regime?

I try not to hate people but when he said I was an athiest who went to a girl's school( Im a deist, as my profile says, and my hometown just happens to contain that commie "girls", I use that term loosely when describing the students of Wellesley College, school) it became hard for me not to.

I guess you never met Tolstoy after he passed his 80th birthday. In any event, my suggestion is to let folks work this out for themselves. That is not only the most healthy and prudent, but government is hopeless in this area in any event, and should stay the hell out. Let young people make their mistakes, and pay for them on their own. Laissez faire in this arena is indicated, as is responsibility for any resulting issue.

I am glad Ann loves Free Republic. We still do alot of good work here, but some of our friends (and her friends, BTW) have been treated horrendously.

OH, you mean like Klayman who "risked it all" right?
To: weikel
A clever humorous riposte (sp) might have been just the ticket. YOu will learn in time.

Hey, now - what did Mark Levin ever do to you?
Er, wait a minute...nevermind ;)

Sinkspur is just spirited and I believe that his reference to you was just an effort at hyperbole of some sorts.
He called me a college bimbo too, but I really don't hold it against him. Actually, because his comments entertained me, it made me like him more.

The sides hate each other and think the other side is a bunch of idiots (of course we conservatives are right when we say that ;) ). 9-11 seemed to help for a while, for a couple of days we actually managed to remember that we're all Americans, but that's long gone. And it worries me. It worries me that it took the death of 3000 Americans in what I sincerely hope is the worst day of my life to settle things, and even then things couldn't stay settled through the end of the month. At some point the two sides are going to have to start being civil again or bad things are going to start to happen, things that are going to make my wish not come true, things that are gonna make 9-11 look like a nice day. Discostu, I appreciate your insight . . . your words sum up my feelings and fears precisely . . .

Isn't this what its all about??

Clearly Hitler and Mussolini considered him to be their fascist brother in arms Not really. In fact Hitler and Franco despised each other, almost viscerally, from the moment they met. Franco thought Hitler was a declasse and irreligious little nihilist who posed a danger to Europe's Christian civilization. He was right.
Hitler thought Franco was a bit too Catholic and stodgy to be a true brother in arms.
But that's beside the point. The dictionary definition of fascism you gave (basically, "fascism=bad") is not all that helpful. It does not, for instance, distinguish fascism from communism.
There was a world of difference between Franco's program in Spain and Hitler's in Germany...so great a difference that I'm not sure the term "fascist" can contain them both.

That is not only the most healthy and prudent, but government is hopeless in this area in any event, and should stay the hell out. If I am making the wrong assumption then I apologize but the only real restraint on "young people's" sex lives are various age of consent laws. On the other hand local governments are handing out condoms. The federal government has no sex laws beyond the MANN act that I know of.

Oh yeah, this thread is about Larry Klayman.
And you're a fool.
